So Many Ponchos, So Little Time: March 2008
http://somanyponchossolittletime.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. High Fashion Beer Can Hat? I'm so glad it's spring! St Patrick's Day always signifies the beginning of the Spring/Summer months that I love. The only downside is that there is less opportunity to wear wooly knits. That's why I'm working like crazy on my Wicked. I want to finish so I can wear it once or twice before it gets too hot. I've actually made real progress - I've been working on Wicked almost exclusively all month and I'm about 3/4 done. Who incorporated the beer can croch...

Sunday, March 1, 2009. Something red, blue, and green. I have to say that I'm totally sick of the drama between Gina and Kelly on BH 90210. I really think that Dylan and Kelly need to stop fooling themselves and admit that they are meant to be. Well, with that confession out of the way, I present to you my Something Red. I think that any knitter can agree that THAT is the best compliment ever. Another co-worker commented that she didn't know a person could knit "something stylish". Ha! Both are lace tria...
So Many Ponchos, So Little Time: Auld Lang Syne
http://somanyponchossolittletime.blogspot.com/2009/01/auld-lang-syne.html
Thursday, January 1, 2009. Well I woke up this morning with volumized hair. And the blog has been updated twice in one week. I believe this bodes well for 2009, don't you? We just returned from a trip to Philadelphia, where The Professor diligently interviewed for a job at many Universities throughout the Midwest and Canada. Will 2009 be the year we move to a cornfield in Nebraska? Or perhaps to an igloo in Alberta? At this point it's impossible to say. HOWEVER, I did get to wear my new mittens:. Also, c...
So Many Ponchos, So Little Time: February 2008
http://somanyponchossolittletime.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 24, 2008. This one goes out to the fans . . . I covet your Monkey socks! And I am reminded of my Monkeys that sit languishing in my frog pile. Maybe I'll pull those out again this week. Big sigh. Anyway. I thought you might want to see my new poncho! I did not knit this . . . my mom did. A few years ago when I was just picking up my needles I had made a comment in passing to her that I thought that the Villa pattern from Knitty. The woman who gave you LIFE. Pretty good, right? In the end...
So Many Ponchos, So Little Time: Introducing Knitpix!
http://somanyponchossolittletime.blogspot.com/2008/08/introducing-knitpix.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. Prepare to be amazed! Or not. Whatever. As you can see, the back of my Sunshine Cardi is almost complete. Phew! It has taken awhile, and I still have the front panels, arms, blocking and finishing to do. A knitter's job is never done, as they say. Or as I say. I love how soft the yarn is and the seed stitch (or is it moss stitch? I always get them confused) looks fabulous, but the cotton/silk combo makes it quite sheddy, which I find endlessly annoying. 1 What is your first name?

June 2, 2008. Posted by spinsterbat under friends. I got tagged by Barb. The rules: Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer. 1) What was I doing ten years ago? 2) What are five (non-work) things on my to-do list for today?

A nurse who knits…. August 5, 2009. 8212; yarnnut @ 4:33 am. I love knitting lace. I hate blocking it. I’ve got tons of toys to make it more fun. T-pins, blocking pads, blocking wires. But I still hate it and put it off as long as I can. I’m sure I have finished lace scarves somewhere that just need a good blocking to bring out the lace pattern. But I digress. This is a view of the cherry blossom side. Here’s what the basketweave portion looks like. Here are the stats:. Pattern: Hanami by Pink Lemon Twist.

A nurse who knits…. August 29, 2009. Delilah’s 1 week old today. 8212; yarnnut @ 9:45 pm. I can’t believe my baby is 1 week old today. It feels like last week was only yesterday…. The next day, I frantically called a lactation consultant for help. We went to Rochelle at Babies in Bloom. In case you were wondering, no knitting has occurred since Delilah made her entrance into the world. I just tried to post a picture of her but wordpress is not cooperating. Maybe I’ll get to do it tomorrow:(. After it was...

What’s in My Wallet? Arriving in Beijing, Compulsory Shopping and an Amazing Meal. Our flight to Beijing was about 3 hours again the attendants were outstanding. They served a Chinese lunch, which we passed on, and served beverages and snacks throughout the flight. I had read that Chinese airlines were cramped, but we both felt that we had an ample amount of leg room, we were very … [Read More.]. Leveraging the Power of Chase Ink for 5X Rewards. so many ponchos, so little time! | A knitting blog written by two hip chicks who live 3000 miles apart.
So many ponchos, so little time! April 8, 2010 · 7:04 pm. Dear Future Mrs. MAC,. Okay, I had a dream last night and you were in it. We were at a huge yarn store, which was holding a class upstairs. (We were there early to buy yarn before class, obviously). So I bought some seriously UGLY yarn that was half solid white and half a really hideous yellow/orange color. It cost $6.25 for a skein (I remember this exactly), and I only needed one since I had MORE of this seriously ugly yarn at home. So we ended u...

I did move my butt a bit more today, and after I enter this blog post I am going to get up and walk a little until I hit my 10,000 step count today. I don’t think I will be able to get it in tomorrow because I am very busy at work- so I would like to at least do it today. We shall see…. 8/11/2015 Day 93 Day 2. August 12, 2015.
