Now | Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such

https://somedayapoet.wordpress.com/2013/04/13/now

Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such. Life is a poem…. I have separated the batteries. And forgotten to wind the watch. Time remains at three seventeen-. Not a moment earlier-. Not an hour later. Remain with me here in the everlasting afternoon. Dwell with me in timelessness. Tomorrow no longer exists. Night has ceased to be. We just needed to find the place. In the wonderland of forever daylight. By mictori on April 13, 2013. Tags: national poetry month. Enter your comment here.

A homeless man … | Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such

https://somedayapoet.wordpress.com/2012/04/20/a-homeless-man-4

Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such. Life is a poem…. A homeless man …. A homeless man passed me on the street as I was receiving devistating news about one of my congregants. He was the face of Christ down to the last wrinkle and in each greying hair. He sauntered along the sidewalk. By mictori on April 20, 2012. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). Stained by Cherries | Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such

https://somedayapoet.wordpress.com/2010/02/12/stained-by-cherries

Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such. Life is a poem…. I’d rather have my heart stained by cherries. Than soaked in chocolate. For cherries are sweet. And red –. The color of my heart. If my heart is soaked with chocolate. It may seem like a treat for all. But really it’s a heart covered in chocolate. I’d rather my eyes be stained by cherries. Than soaked in chocolate. I think I could see through the stain. To a world that is rose colored. But a chocolate covered covered world-.

Winter’s Short Sabbatical | Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such

https://somedayapoet.wordpress.com/2013/01/12/winters-short-sabbatical

Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such. Life is a poem…. Winter’s Short Sabbatical. Have I been paroled from Winter’s grip. Or given a day pass? Lingering ice absorbed into dirt. And frozen ground softens. Birds chirp and dance like it was Spring. Oh how they’ll be surprised tomorrow. When cold winds dance. And ice goes back to work once again. By mictori on January 12, 2013. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:.

Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such. Life is a poem…. Nod to Chocolate Cake. This is a plate. This is the space for chocolate cake. This is the space where emotion meets food. The texture with the tears… the sweetness with the happiness. By mictori on October 18, 2012. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Following me around the web…. Single in the Sanctuary. Want to know about me? Michelle L. Torigian. God Goes Pop Culture. Buddhism Reshaped My Easter. Asymp; 4 Comments. Let’s face it – Easter tends to be the most Christian holiday of the year. But last year, I adopted a Buddhist view of Easter… at least in my sermon. One of my best friends practices Bud...

Musings about Liturgical Adventures, Poetic Journeys and Such. Life is a poem…. Bull;April 13, 2013 • 1 Comment. How long did you hands linger. Over the inside cover. Of the book of love poetry. That you gave me in our past life together? As you penned the words of love and admiration,. Did you think our hearts would dwell together. From century to century. From this life to the next? The ink has faded. The book has been stashed away,. And the sentiments have vanished. I have separated the batteries.
