Wall Stickers to brighten any room with Tenstickers - Someone's Mum
https://someonesmum.co.uk/2017/01/11/wall-stickers-tenstickers
Wall Stickers to brighten any room with Tenstickers. Are a brilliant way to brighten any child’s room without spending a fortune. Children grow up so quickly and their obsessions and interests change with them. However, redecorating a bedroom every few years is simply not practical or affordable for most parents. That’s why we have used wall stickers as a brilliant way to make both Biggest and Littlest’s rooms engaging and unusual without breaking the bank. Have a great range to choose from. With this id...

Point to the window, Point to the door… – Life with Lexi
https://homevideosofaspeechandlanguagetherapist.wordpress.com/2016/03/14/point-to-the-window-point-to-the-door
Enjoying Your Baby's Development. March 14, 2016. Point to the window, Point to the door…. When my friends’ babies started to point I got really excited. They looked at me like they were pleased I was taking an interest in their child but really…is it that exciting Sarah? Well I think so! Pointing is quite a big step in terms of communication . Pointing is babies way of saying. 8220;what’s that? 8220;I want that”. 8220;ooh, this feels different”. Lexi enjoyed me copying her and she realised her pointing ...

Copy Cat – Life with Lexi
https://homevideosofaspeechandlanguagetherapist.wordpress.com/2016/03/07/copy-cat/comment-page-1
Enjoying Your Baby's Development. March 7, 2016. March 7, 2016. Copying adults (and other children) is how Lexi is learning lots of different things. She watches us and then once she is ready, she has a go herself. This is still how I prefer to learn. I would much rather watch a you tube video to know how to do something than read a lengthy manual! Babies don’t need to learn to copy us because they do it innately but we can copy them to encourage (or not copy to discourage! Lexi loves it when we copy her.
To My Autistic Child Starting School | Tiny Tyger, Baby Bear and Me

To My Autistic Child Starting School. To My Autistic Child Starting School. September 4, 2016. But you’re starting school and you’re excited about it and I’m excited, too…but I’m also petrified. I think it’s a little scary for any parent when their child goes off to school but it’s especially scary when your child is different and you. Different, Sweetheart, you just are (I am, too, if it helps). People in a continuous monologue of your every thought is the same as having a conversation with them. I̵...
Why I'm Glad I Had Boys | Tiny Tyger, Baby Bear and Me

Why I’m Glad I Had Boys. Why I’m Glad I Had Boys. October 19, 2016. Sometimes I’m grateful I don’t have a daughter. I’m not a massive fan of pink, for one thing, and I have it on good authority you end up inundated with pink if you happen to conceive a female of our species (for some inexplicable reason). My pink-aversion isn’t the main source of my relief, though. People. I won’t even go into the other horrendous possible crimes he has committed against women and girls. How about just being honest about...

Passionate for awareness Sensory Processing Disorder. We’re not alone in our struggle…. January 8, 2017. By Sensory Sensitive Mummy. A few months ago I saw an article on the Redditch Advertiser website, where I read about fellow ‘warrior mum’ who was fighting a battle “ to prove her innocence after being accused of faking her son’s autism.” Source: Redditch Advertiser 24/08/16. Here is the original article I read:. 8220;YES we have a diagnosis. YES it was precisely the issue that we suspected. A few days...

What? I don't FEEL like someone's mom!
Monday, November 24, 2008. The laughs keep rolling in. Neighbor comes to front door. Neighbor: The dome light's on in your car again. Me (sarcastically, to Colin): You wouldn't know any little boys who do that, now, do you? Colin (not understanding sarcasm): Yes I do. I do it all the time. Neighbor (above neighbor's wife) is talking to Colin. Neighbor: Do you play nice with Sissy? Neighbor: You don't play nice with Sissy? Colin: No, not "Sissy", it "Baby Hayden". You not speak Engwish. Me (seeing brown s...
Somebody's Momma
Just loving that they still call me momma. Saturday, June 1, 2013. First day of summer! A great first day of break: a morning playdate, first little league practice, a trip to the library, fun with friends at the pool and swim team practice. Before the day had even begun, I overheard the boys talking about how excited they were to have so much more time to spend together. (That's one way to make your mama smile! And how fun was it to take FOUR readers to the library! Monday, November 1, 2010. So tonight ...

I Buy A New Washer
I Buy A New Washer. Thursday, 13 August 2015. I Commute By Tube. For the past three weeks, my eldest son has been travelling to his work experience placement in Spitalfields from Stockwell and I started him off on this adventure by travelling with him for the first couple of days. I'd forgotten what a full-on sensory experience travelling on the London underground at 8am is, something I did every day as a schoolgirl. Back then, my life began when I came across TS Eliot's The Wasteland. I'm glad the tube ...
