Friday, August 7, 2009. Marlin and Kenna ready to go. Kenna got baptized last Saturday. It was a very nice baptism. Our Stake does Stake baptisms, but because Kenna was the only one being baptized in August, we were able to arrange things to be more personal. It is exciting to watch Kenna grow up. She has such a strong spirit and personality. She can do so much good, it will be fin to watch how she helps others. Good thing they are cute boys. Some days it is all that keeps me from drastic measures.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010. I need to post more often, but seem to have the knack for putting off good things. Ian swam in the Boys Metro Championship meet last Saturday. He did fantastic. He swam the 500 yard freestyle, and the 100 yard back stroke. He placed 14th overall in the 500 and 12th in the 100 back. Not bad for a freshman. He really likes swimming and does well at it. He also will be performing in the All-State Jazz concert this Sunday. It is fun to watch the kids do well. Fun With Food Storage.

Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Nit Picking - Literally. I called her in the bathroom, and after looking at her head, sure enough LICE. Well the ox was in the mire, I ran to the store and got some lice shampoo, and treated her immediately. Now it is a matter of inspecting all of the kids everyday, and "nit picking" Kenna's hair for 2 weeks. I also spent part of my Sabbath doing laundry, vacuuming. 160;(I just noticed the irony of my posting this on a blog, but oh well you can't get lice from the internet.

Monday, February 22, 2010. I just love my kids. Don is at the age where he says the greatest things. Saturday night I went to Wal Mart and bought a cantaloupe. It is on the kitchen counter. Last night before bed Don said "Mom, tomorrow can you cut open the envelope? I wasn't sure what he was talking about until I looked and he was holding the cantaloupe. Monday, May 14, 2012. Ben - 2 1/2. I love that when I hold Ben's hand, he insists on tucking his thumb inside as well. He calls us Ma-ee and Da-ee and it's darn cute. His speech is improving a ton and he has come a LONG way from only being able to say the sound 'A' at 22 months. (A little over 6 months ago.). Running, climbing, and digging in the dirt. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Don and Andrew found a Hershey's bar I had put up. They thought it was really good. Especially Don, and. Richard. No wonder he won't eat regular food. Wednesday, October 7, 2009. At the end of this summer, Ian had to have a growth removed from his toe. I took some pictures to document it. It cut in to the end of summer swimming, but now it won't bother him for cross country or marching. This is Ian's toe before surgery. It is hard to see the growth, but it is on the 4th toe.
