Just another WordPress.com site. About me… Who I am… Who I want to be. A quick picture of Love. February 16, 2012. Today is the 16th of February, 2012. I haven’t posted in a long time, I ran out of motivation and am working on that as I struggle for the content I want to publish on this blog. It has just turned midnight in Wake Forest so not much has happened today other than I read this article. As soon as I read this I thought of this passage of scripture,. A place called Wake Forest. October 27, 2011.

The Taffs: May 2015

100 in the Kitchen. Thursday, May 28, 2015. The Last Day of School. Another school year has come and gone. This guy has finished k4. He started the year with career aspirations of becoming Spider Man, however that was SO. Last year. Now he seems himself more as Iron Man. Landon wasn't as easily talked into posed pictures. He can be a bit of a difficult subject to photograph. I say it every year, but I can't believe how much you've grown! This seems like just yesterday! Finally, Eli checked out his books ...
The Taffs: Tiger Swim Lessons
http://wesleyandrebecca.blogspot.com/2015/07/tiger-swim-lessons.html
100 in the Kitchen. Tuesday, July 7, 2015. We decided that this was the year Eli needed to take swim lessons. There are plenty of people who give lessons around town, but when I saw on FB that the Auburn Aquatics center on campus did, we immediately signed up! We love any excuse for a trip to Auburn. Swim lessons spanned two weeks, and Eli had a blast! He learned so much and his confidence (and mine) grew too. Also, why did I never go to the aquatics center when I was a student? The Taffs: Egg Huntin'

100 in the Kitchen. Thursday, July 9, 2015. So I'm several months late posting this, shocker, I know, but my OCD won't let me skip over it. Plus, these two boys were too cute not to share! I love them in matching clothes! When did he turn in to a big kid? He is so tall and handsome with his fresh hair cut! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Taffs: July 2015
http://wesleyandrebecca.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
100 in the Kitchen. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Last weekend we spent four days in Tennessee with my family. We affectionately referred to this weekend as Camp Nana Puddin'. We picked the Burgins up from the airport and then drove to TN to meet Z and Amber. While the drive through the Smokies was beautiful, it did not go over so well with Landon boy. Poor baby got SO CARSICK on the drive back down the mountain. I think it was a combination of the winding roads and his ears. : (. Before going through the exhib...
The Taffs: Sandy Landy
http://wesleyandrebecca.blogspot.com/2015/07/sandy-landy.html
100 in the Kitchen. Thursday, July 9, 2015. Over our June beach trip, Landon earned a new nickname, Sandy Landy! Often times he was like a pig in the mud, rolling all around in the sand. I've never seen a baby like sand like my Landon boy. When we came in off the beach, Sandy Landy went straight to the tub. That sand gets EVERYWHERE! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Taffs: April 2015
http://wesleyandrebecca.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
100 in the Kitchen. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Sunday, April 26, 2015. We hadn't anticipated Eli playing spring soccer since we'd be down a man with Daddy coaching at the high school, but the youth league announced that spring teams would be the same as the fall leagues were, so we signed back up! This guy was pumped for opening day! He was so excited about his new cleats and how they'd make him kick harder and run faster. I will. I will. On the team with his buddy Abigail! Sunday, April 5, 2015. Easter ...

100 in the Kitchen. 100 in the Kitchen. I never posted about New Year's Resolutions. I generally don't make them. If I'm going to change something, then I'll just do it.I don't need Jan 1 to roll around to do it. BUT, if I were going to make a New Year's Resolution, it would be to cook more. I really enjoy cooking (and it's generally cheaper), so this is to keep me motivated. Bear with me as I get my list and links together (just 23 more)! Cream Cheese Banana Nut Bread. Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Muffins.
The Taffs: June Reads
http://wesleyandrebecca.blogspot.com/2015/07/june-reads.html
100 in the Kitchen. Monday, July 6, 2015. I read a lot of good stuff in June. Eli and Landon gave me What Alice Forgot. Jen Hatmaker. Enough said. Go read. Only one month left before it's back to work, and I've got several more books I want to read. So many books. So little time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Taffs: 4th of July weekend
http://wesleyandrebecca.blogspot.com/2015/07/4th-of-july-weekend.html
100 in the Kitchen. Monday, July 6, 2015. 4th of July weekend. We kept the roads hot over the holiday weekend. It started with a quick trip to Dothan. We let Nana and Puddin' put the boys to bed, and we snuck out to see Jurassic World. So good! Eli and I made a patriotic cake for the birthday boy this year. The morning of Wesley's birthday, Eli and I got up and bought birthday donuts. Then, we headed to reunion. The Mary Taff crowd. Other than fishing, there was a lot of floating and boat riding too!

SOME THINGS I HAVE MADE
SOME THINGS I HAVE MADE. Friday, October 31, 2014. I was so excited to finish my bloomers-in-progress last night- I bound the leg placket, stitched the gusset, gathered the leg opening and attached the cuff- and then I held them up in front of me and realized what I had done. In other news, I got a roll of Kraft paper as big as my head! I'm also working on a short coat/heavy jacket with a hood- more news on that later. Saturday, October 11, 2014.
