Monday, July 23, 2012. Comfort and Joy - Block 2. Here is my second Comfort and Joy Quilt block finish. This block was really fun to make and I just love the log cabin blocks in this one. I was suppose to have this up yesterday but I had some major issues with my Verizon Wireless Satellite Internet and had to post a little at a time before I could get the post completely up. Friday, July 20, 2012. Comfort and Joy - Block 1. After seeing this quilt show up on various blogs as part of a quilt a long I decided I "NEEDED" to make it for myself. I absolutely love sampler quilts that use patchwork, applique and embroidery. Pair that with a Christmas theme and I am hooked every time. My Husband just recently finished off our walkout basement and I am in the process of putting the final touches on my new sewing studio. It is almost finished and once it is I promise to show a photo of the space in it's entirety. Until then here are some little snippets of what I have completed so far.
