Picture Unperfect: March 2015
http://pictureunperfect.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
The photoblog of a northerner living in North Nottinghamshire. Sunday, 29 March 2015. Newbiggin by-the-sea is a fishing village on the south coast of Northumberland. As a youngster I remember coming here to play on the beach and it seemed to my young eyes to be massive. In just a few years the beach was all but gone, washed away by the sea. There are just a handful of fishermen now who still regularly launch their cobles into the bay. I took these pictures on an extremely windy, very cold February. Occas...

Small scale self-reliance for uncertain times. The self reliant bookshelf. Monday, 17 August 2015. We came back up over the Gatehouse to Laurieston road, my favourite road of all. Stopped for tea and cake at the viewpoint, where I had my first go at a panorama photo - not too bad, just need a bit of practice. Lots of sheep about as usual, sitting on the warm road cudding. This chap in his canoe had a road and line, catching his supper - what a lovely way to spend an afternoon :). Fingerless mitts - 3.

A sturdy roof; and yes, we could. Live well for ever, by the shore -. What wild-heart soul could ask for more? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). SACs, S...
