We Wendt To Japan: Canyoning! Minakami, Japan!
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2010/06/canyoning-minakami-japan.html
We Wendt To Japan. June 21, 2010. Here they are, the pis from our canyoning tour. We didn't have a whole lot of opportunity to take pics, it was a very fast paced tour and the camera was tethered to my life jacket. I tried though! One of my good friends Stephanie! I had to wear a child's size, guess that means I have a small brain too, it would explain a lot! This was our first slide run, pretty tame and a good one to learn all the different slides; forwards, backwards, head first and tandem. One of the ...

We Wendt To Japan: August 2009
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
We Wendt To Japan. August 31, 2009. First day of school '09. What a day to start school! We had a typhoon warning today, so it was real windy and rainy all day. I had to take the pictures inside this year! Both of the boys were soaked when they got home. They were dismissed at 12:30 since the brunt of the storm was due to hit between 3:00 and 5:00. We are all fine, no noticeable damage as of yet. I seriously think living in Chicago was way worse than any of the typhoons so far. Love you and miss you all!

We Wendt To Japan: Displaced fingernail
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2009/02/displaced-fingernail.html
We Wendt To Japan. February 10, 2009. Well, there's nothing like starting the week with a trip to the ER! Luckily, Ray brought his Zune with to the hospital. It was a nice distraction for Hunter, it made it easy to ignore the Novocaine shots and he didn't have to listen to what they were going to do to next. I feel your pain my sweetie pie! February 10, 2009 at 10:26 PM. The hurt that I felt all through my body while looking at those pictures was insane! What a trooper though! February 11, 2009 at 5:22 AM.

We Wendt To Japan: April 2009
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
We Wendt To Japan. April 22, 2009. It is popular in Japan to have highlights. Hunter has a couple friends that have them, so of course, he wanted them too. I, of course, had to document the experience. He is going to be furious at me for posting these, but that's what mom's are for! Maybe Uncle John can fix him up right when we come home for a visit, or convince him what highlights are supposed to look like! The crab and tuna salad is pretty good, but heavy with the mayo! Hunter ate the scrambled egg and...

We Wendt To Japan: Cruel and Unusual
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2009/02/cruel-and-unusual.html
We Wendt To Japan. February 5, 2009. I had to document Ray being cruel to Izzy, once again! I asked him to take my blood pressure, because for some reason I was feeling a lot of anxiety and stress. After he was done, he decided to wrap it around Izzy and see if he could get a reading. Poor Izzy is so petrified, she didn't move at all. In the first picture, you can actually see her eyes popping out! The good new is, my blood pressure was only 89/50, I guess it was just all the caffeine I drank!

We Wendt To Japan: October 2008
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
We Wendt To Japan. October 27, 2008. Hunter had to do a report and draw a portrait of John Adams. Here is his picture. When he showed it to me, I was truely startled and let out a little scream. I don't know, maybe it is the hair, or the eyes, or both. I had to share this with everyone, hope it brightens your day like it did mine! October 9, 2008. Tanner ironed the shirt and pants himself as well as polished his own shoes. I am sure he has made his dad proud! October 1, 2008. This ship is massive! Here t...

We Wendt To Japan: June 2008
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
We Wendt To Japan. June 20, 2008. Here are some more Fujikyu pictures. Not sure what this semi is from. It was in front of the Gundym Ride. Some Japanese cartoon. This is the first time Hunter was able to drive a go cart by himself. He did pretty good until he had to stop at the end, he almost rammed the back of Tanner's car. The attendant was able to grab the brake handle and stop him. Tanner was a little large. It was difficult to get his huge legs and feet in there! June 17, 2008. Here is a picture of...

We Wendt To Japan: August 2008
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
We Wendt To Japan. August 28, 2008. We usually eat here for lunch when we come to the main base, it is only a 10 minute walk from one of the gates. There is also a Mr. Doughnut right next door. The boy's usually get dessert there. Tanner usually gets extra rice and bean sprouts at no extra charge. Hunter's hamburger meal also comes with an egg he scrambles and fresh green beans. The people here are real friendly and always remember not to put the fresh pepper on Hunter's meal. August 25, 2008. I think it...

We Wendt To Japan: Ray's gun shoot
http://wendtsinjapan.blogspot.com/2010/06/rays-gun-shoot.html
We Wendt To Japan. June 12, 2010. I do consider us lucky in the fact that his sea and shore duty rotation is 3 and 3. Some jobs have 4 or 5 years sea duty obligation, so I can handle the few months we have left. Ray is shooting the .240 cal. in order to get re-certified, he sure loves his weapons. I am hoping will all of his certificates and schooling he will be able to land an instructor position on a base somewhere when he retires, I think he would enjoy it. Opamikey at the farm. My little surprise is 1.
