kate and geoff: Monday Subway Art
http://kateplusgeoff.blogspot.com/2012/02/monday-subway-art.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. Saw this as a banner on the downtown N train today and loved it. This is just half of the banner. Artists' name is Sophie Blackall. And she hit it dead on. Have absolutely seen every one of these people on the subway-and probably all in the same car. From the musician with the giant upright bass and the kid looking out the window to the blue haired, knitting Willamsburg-er, the teenage couple making out and the woman with the ginormous plant. Well, love it in art form at least.

Thank you to those kind people who rescued those little bears! Well, I thought about the person who discovered that the little bears were trapped in the dumpster and what they must have seen when they looked in.here is a quick little painting of what I thought it might have looked like:). Thursday, August 13, 2015. A forgetful man and his loyal dog. He lives all alone (excepting the animals) in a worn-out seaside villa. The towers look out to sea…. The drying fishing nets resemble spider webs. A pair of kittens see something. A heron is hunting in the koi pond. Order (and its opposite) rule the land. Links to this post. Sunday, August 2, 2015.
