Sunday, July 29, 2012. This summer has been so much fun! Life is so much different now that we have a baby, but it is so much more fun! Maelynn is changing so much, and has experienced a lot of "firsts" this summer. She is trying to figure out this whole "crawling" thing we've all been talking about. She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. She scoots around the floor, and is pulling herself up on everything! Monday, April 23, 2012. Maelynn turned 5 months old last week! I can't believe how fast the time is flying! She is getting so big, and doing so many new things. She has turned into a chatty little lady! She has babbled for a little while now, but this last weekend she started saying "Da, Da, Dadda. . ." It is so fun to hear her learn new sounds. Thursday, July 28, 2011. Matt and I spent the 24th of July weekend up in Midway with my sister Trish and her family. It was a lot of fun! Matt and Tyler went golfing while us girls hung out, then we went up to my parent's cabin to watch fireworks and hang out. Becca's had done a great job of lettering Star Wars on the cake and Taz ruined it with one big lick! Zachary was baptised and confirmed by his Dad on September 4. Our son Nate is now a Bona Fide Pathologist and will be moving to Lakenheath Air Force Base near London to use his skills - unfortunately he is taking our four little grandchildren with him! Cautionary Tales of a Woman in a Quandary. A Portrait of Neurosis: Part 1. My first few years of college I actually attempted to cook for one. Then I went on a mission and when I came home all I remembered how to make were microwave brownies and no bakes. Somehow I couldn't remember what normal people eat. As a result, I was forced to establish new eating patterns. Unfortunately, this is what evolved. Baked Tostitos w/ Fresh Salsa. All Natural Fruit Leather. 1 small can v8. 2 bottles of flavored water.
