Hip Hop全盛の中で正統Soulを貫く偉い兄弟、K-Ci and JOJO- - -. 何の知識もなく、Tower Recordの店内放送で聴いて、即購入した曲。ちょっと見は危険そうな２人。実は数ヶ月前、ステージでの卑猥な行動で逮捕されている。オレの先入観はこのような２人はHip Hop系と見なすが、彼らが歌う曲は正統派R&B。Hip Hopが全盛の今、彼らの曲は新鮮に聞こえてうれしい。その後も正統はR&B系のCrazyという曲もリリースしている。彼らで印象的なのはBabyface兄弟とSoul Foodという映画でユニットMilestoneを組みI Care Bout Youという曲を歌っていたこと。BabyfaceのUnpluggedにも出演している。 Friday, April 07, 2006. Monday, October 08, 2007. 久々の更新。前回が7月だから3ヶ月以上サボっていたことになる。正直この3ヶ月は怒濤の3ヶ月だった。まだ当分続くけど。よく乗り越えてきたと思う。親しい人たちのサポートもあったし、元来自分に住み着いている「どうにかなるさ」精神もプラスに作用した気がする。あと、めちゃくちゃ音楽を聴いたのも良かったかもしれない。 Sometimes in our lives we all have pain. Boz Scaggsの名曲。最近彼のJazzのCDを良く聴く。凄くうまい。でも、やはりBozはこの曲でしょう。この数日間集中砲火を浴びているように仕事、トラブル処理に追い回されている。このところ昼過ぎになるとなにかどんと肩に乗ったような状況が続いている。今日も・・・・・このままだとおかしくなると思っているところにかかったのがこの曲。凄く癒された。でも、オレ以上に癒される必要のある人がいる。その人にも聴いてほしい。 We Are All Alone. 目を閉じて 夢を見て そうすれば僕と 一緒にいられるんだよ.
