Viewing and reading suggestions. Wednesday, 10 December 2014. Open Crit. Friday 28th November 2014. In our recent open crits, we have been experimenting with how we document the discussion which takes place. One of the ways in which we have been doing this is by inviting the members who have presented work to write something about their particular experience of the crit, if and how they found it useful, and what they intended to do as a result. What is it that I want to share? Crit Groups are great for r...

Me, sort of. Jun 22, 2013. While drawing this one of the things I was thinking about was the relationship that sense and sense objects have–as it’s articulated in the Upanishads and specifically the Katha Upanishad……. Good-bye horrrrrr-ses, I’m flying over youuuuuuuu…. Also I allowed the two-dimensional figures to not be fully visible, and allowed objects on the surface (foreground) to sneak behind other figures. Jul 8, 2011. Cara B = Side B. This July we were invited to be a part of an exhibition event put together by the Blank Media Collective. Fun Fact: Blank Media put on the first Takahashi show ever. The way this event came together was a really great experience. From the beginning, Mark Devereux (blank media’s director) really drove the point home that he wanted it to be artist-centric. It was an exhibition showcasing our work, as well as that of Naomi Kendrick. Which is run by Anton and Rod. Jun 30, 2011.

Islington Mill Art Academy: Active Curating May 6th
http://islingtonmillartacademy.blogspot.com/2014/05/active-curating-may-6th.html
Viewing and reading suggestions. Monday, 19 May 2014. Active Curating May 6th. The second active curating session took place on Tuesday 6. How would it be possible to reach a consensus on what that would be? Could the rules be tinkered with in such a way that it would aid the achievement of these goals? In this way, the session raised some interesting possibilities about how active curating could proceed in the future. Here is an account of the event by another of the people who attended:. There also see...
