Thursday, March 31, 2005. I can see clearly now. Well, yes, I have ordered some new glasses, but that's not what this is about. A few weeks ago a rock flew up and smacked the windshield on our truck. We didn't notice any damage for a few days and then we found an inch-long crack at the right edge of the glass. Over a period of about a week, it grew to several inches. Posted by Howard at 5:55 PM. Monday, February 28, 2005. Cushman made engines long before they made scooters. They got into the scooter business in order to sell more engines. That seemed to work very well for them. In the mid 1940's Cushman dropped the Autoglide name and came out with the 50-series Cushmans, but they kept the 4 hp, 2-piece Husky.
