Intuitive Textile Journeys: May 2014
http://intuitivetextilejourneys.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Words . Inspiring Words. Friday, May 23, 2014. A break at the beach on a warm sunny May weekend, filled with art and reading, long beach walks and swimming provided new inspiration for another nature book. Actually there's enough material here for three different books I think. I've felt so inspired from this weekend with nature, the light and finding my voice for these works and have my wonderful friend Peggy to thank for the opportunity. Watch this space . in a couple of months time. :-).

Intuitive Textile Journeys: Al-pha-bet-i-ca
http://intuitivetextilejourneys.blogspot.com/2015/05/al-pha-bet-i-ca.html
Words . Inspiring Words. Saturday, May 23, 2015. In this book, a group of fourteen artists collaborate to create fourteen individual books based on the alphabet and numbers as a theme. Some of these artists had never met each other. Each artist creates a ' journal' for the collaboration that then travels and is added to by the other thirteen artists, inviting them to engage, play and experiment. Eventually all the books arrive back with the owner full of stories and surprises on every page. Luminous Land...

http://intuitivetextilejourneys.blogspot.com/2015/01/pause-while-to-do-list.html
Words . Inspiring Words. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Pause A While - A to Do List. Today's creative engagement - a stand for a Thimble List. Of things to do today. Given to me by a friend to decorate - today was the day. The verse is a hymn from my days at secondary school which has always resonated for me:. Pause a while, pause a while. In the humdrum of the city and behind the cloistered wall. In the early morning and when shadows start to fall. See creation bending to the maker of it all. Gaylene Earl...

http://intuitivetextilejourneys.blogspot.com/2015/01/brick-bay-sculpture-trail.html
Words . Inspiring Words. Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Brick Bay Sculpture Trail. Another great suggestion for summer - a visit to the Brick Bay Sculpture Trail. It was awesome. With around 46 sculptures on display, there has to be something that everyone will find their favourite. The walking is easy, in and out of the shade, and entirely at your own pace. I think I've got a creative theme going here - following a Lace trail. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Julie Fei Fan Balzer.

Intuitive Textile Journeys: 365 Days
http://intuitivetextilejourneys.blogspot.com/p/365-days.html
Words . Inspiring Words. I'm going to try and take a photograph every day for the next 365 consecutive days, just as a record of one year of my time on earth. I did try to do this earlier this year, and found it challenging to make the time, so no doubt it will be again. I began on Sunday 21 November 2010. I reached 365 days on 5 May 2013. Through a series of miscounts, I continued. As at 15 June 2013 I've uploaded 820 images from a total of 382 days. Saturday 15 June 2013. Friday 14 June 2013. Friday 22...

Words . Inspiring Words. Monday, January 12, 2015. Today’s post is a giveaway – a creative idea, inspiration and a gift for you to move on through the Universe to others you encounter. Some time ago I read Creative is a Verb: If You’re Alive, You’re Creative by Patti Digh. In it she tells a story of a man who sent leaves.
