Monday, August 2, 2010. Day 15: Jesus Arrives in Galilee and Begins Teaching. Jesus is welcomed in Galilee, but what appears to be acceptance of Him and His messiahship is really a rejection. They flock to Him for one reason His miracles- what he can do for them physically. How would they know He was the Messiah that had been prophesied for generations? How would they know that this was not just a charismatic rabbi with unique gifts? We must see this through Jewish eyes. 1 He taught in the synagogues.

Thursday, February 14, 2013. Living Like Jesus Day 1. I'm doing a Bible study with my church, but I am so enjoying and getting something from The Word, that I decided to start an additional one with the Good Morning Girls called Living Like Jesus, based on Luke 1-8. There are specific things to do each day, but I am going to post them here instead of printing out paper, to be a better steward of the Earth! I'm not starting on Monday, so I'll have to adjust my days to have my week start on Thursday!

Things come to those who wait: "Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). The scripture basis for this lesson is Genesis 16:1-4. 1 "Now" what was happening in the lives of Abraham and Sarah? They had waited for 10 more years for God to fulfill His promise to give them a son. I don't think so!

Monday, April 26, 2010. Found a new Bible Study! It looks like this sweet lady posts something three times a week, so I'm gonna try to get in on it and participate! Maybe knowing that others are doing it at the same time will motivate me.I'm so bad about falling by the wayside when I'm not accountable! Here is the blog: On Topic Bible Study. So the word for the week for us to motivate upon is belong. We're encouraged to find a scripture containing the word for the week, too. I'll work on that in a few.
