The Great Swindle Begins July 28th. June 28, 2015. The Great Swindle of the title of this post isn’t some kind of Great British Bake off, not at all. That’s a month from today for those sleeping in the back. To celebrate the announcement, Dan Marshall, the brains behind Size Five Games has released a batch of new screenshots from the game:. The Wizarding World of Magicka 2. June 8, 2015. When the friendly PR contact for Paradox Interactive got in touch regarding. I jumped at the chance of getting hold of a review code. On the PS4. I chose to check out Paradox’s first release on console out of interest to see how it fares when playing with a gamepad, and because I had bounced off the first game on PC when I foolishly tried to play it solo. You see is all about playing a others, be they friends or total strangers. The joy with. The different ...

Feeling Feelings In Gone Home. July 2, 2015. If you want a game about the past, you need look no further than. I’m not talking about the past with swords and kings, or the past with Nazis, or the past with Romans. No, that’s not the past, that’s just stuff that happened a long time ago. This is the real past, a past I can remember. Managed in an instant to drag me back in time to an era of VHS tapes and mix tapes. Do kids even know what a mix tape is nowadays? At the same time. More important that that, ...

Musings on The Taken King and Destiny 2.0. August 9, 2015. Destiny’ latest expansion, The Taken King lands in September along with updates for the core game. Is this Destiny 2.0? Will The Taken King be good? Chris muses on what is happening after the break. I have a confession – I can’t remember when I last played Destiny. Beatbuddy - The Verdict | The Reticule
http://thereticule.com/beatbuddy-review
Beatbuddy – The Verdict. August 15, 2013. I always find it a shame when a game you were looking forward. To just doesn’t live up to the potential you saw in it. I’m talking about Beatbuddy. The best thing about what I played at Rezzed was that the level took twenty minutes tops to complete, it was short sharp and very sweet. Levels in the full game? He’s a little bit evil. Just a little. It looks stunning nearly all the time. For the most part though Beatbuddy. There are funny moments too. While it can g...

Five Things I Want To See in Splatoon | The Reticule
http://thereticule.com/five-things-i-want-to-see-in-splatoon
Five Things I Want To See in Splatoon. June 14, 2015. I picked up Splatoon. On launch weekend, and I’ve been coming back to it for a quick blast of inky action most days since then. It is a very well crafted game, not a surprise as it comes from the Nintendo EAD team that created the Wii’s major hit, Wii Sports. And one of the few Wii U titles to really make use of the GamePad, Nintendo Land. 1) Change the stage rotation mechanics. I quite like how the multiplayer in Splatoon. 2) Three or four way battles.
