We spent 3 days backpacking in the Lye Brook wilderness which is part of the Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont. We paddled 3 different rivers in the first few days. After arriving in in Juneau and flew to Skagway where we entered Canada to paddle the Tutshi. Modern fireplaces are not efficient and are known to suck air from inside the house and send out of the chimney.
