Space Worlder

Monday, January 24, 2011. Costly Euro space laser reviewed. European scientists are being asked whether they still want to go ahead with a pioneering space laser mission. The Earthcare satellite would study the role clouds and atmospheric particles play in a changing climate. But difficulties in developing the spacecraft's lidar instrument mean the cost of the venture will likely rise from 450m to 590m euros (£500m). Earthcare is in line to be the sixth Explorer. It would study how clouds and aerosol...

Space Worlder: Space-starved PMPML loses parking plot

http://spaceworlder.blogspot.com/2011/01/space-starved-pmpml-loses-parking-plot.html

Monday, January 24, 2011. Space-starved PMPML loses parking plot. The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML), struggling to find enough parking space at bus-stands and terminuses for its fleet of 1,550 buses, has been robbed of a plot of prime land reserved for a bus terminus (in the 1987 development plan). Through a government resolution (GR) the state government has changed the status of the 21,000 square feet plot in upmarket Deccan Gymkhana into a parking space for citizen's vehicles. PMPML ...

Space Worlder: WRAPUP 1-Canadian oil pipelines to ration space next month

http://spaceworlder.blogspot.com/2011/01/wrapup-1-canadian-oil-pipelines-to.html

Monday, January 24, 2011. WRAPUP 1-Canadian oil pipelines to ration space next month. Space on Canadian oil pipelines will remain tight through at least the end of February, as Enbridge Inc (ENB.TO) and Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (KMP.N) both said on Monday their lines can't ship as much crude next month as customers have requested. Much of that excess Alberta oil has been making its way to the Cushing hub, where tanks are already brimming with crude. Analysts have tagged the rising volumes of Can...

Lupos Explains: Some extended time with Mario Galaxy

http://luposexplains.blogspot.com/2008/10/some-extended-time-with-mario-galaxy.html

Sunday, October 26, 2008. Some extended time with Mario Galaxy. I'm absolutely floored by this fucking game! Don't get me wrong, I still think that Bioshock and Mass Effect were just as good, but in their own ways. Bioshock was the Mario Galaxy of FPS's, offering some of the most well-designed and breath-taking environments in a game, ever. Meanwhile, Mass Effect had likely the most immersive story ever put into a game, and also involved running around the universe kicking serious ass! Horror Movie A Day.

Monday, December 31, 2007. Some games I played recently. Naruto: Rise of Ninja. Friday, December 14, 2007. Sorry that I havn't gotten the second part up yet. It's finals week and I've been so damn busy. The thing just takes so long to write and I've just not been willing to take care of it. Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Coming tommorrow: Top Game Moments 5-1. A long time ago, a game rocked,. Rivals battle in an awesome montage,. The Great war is fought again,. An old mascot at his prime,. I figured I'd st...

Lupos Explains: July 2009

http://luposexplains.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. There’s good things about it, and there’s bad. I also am a tad skeptical concerning the enemy design. The only enemies we’ve seen so far are these burn victims. that are chasing Harry. They don’t seem to be as imaginative as what was made for SH2, but they could be worse. They could all be Colin from the SH movie (CURSE YOU GANS! This new mechanic should prove a nice addition. What’s next for SH, a rubic’s cube? So as of this moment, I’m perso...

Lupos Explains: November 2008

http://luposexplains.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 1, 2008. Best Fucking Day Ever! This was a once in a lifetime experience! The fucking city was going insane! I couldn't believe Broad Street; people were hanging off the street lights, dancing on the roofs, banging and climbing on the cars in the street! My friend and I were almost crushed between emergency vehicles, and then we were almost run over by a tow truck! It was absolutely fucking awesome! The only event I could liken it to was when the Soxs won the series a few years ago!

Lupos Explains: November 2007

http://luposexplains.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 26, 2007. A response to Jedite's rant on Fanboys. Yeah, I know, 4 posts today! I'm on a roll though! Anyway, last week made a quick rant about on Youtube and I thought that I'd make a quick response. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? I wanted to post the vid but I wasn't able to). Now, if a console fails, it does not necessarily. How long would it be before Apple decided to make an iSystem. EA, or Ubisoft. Go first party and take all their IPs. PS3, and whatever other console that jumps in t...

Lupos Explains: February 2010

http://luposexplains.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Saturday, February 27, 2010. Many Reviews and a special word. And fucking zombie BERSERKERS! Yet, the challenge is meaningless as you can't die. Yep, that's right, you can't die! You don't even go back to the beginning of the area like in Silent Hill Shattered Memories, or even go to a fucking respawn spot like in the original Bioshock for Christ's sake! You just spring up like you just had a quick power nap and you're back to swinging and killing. Where's the fucking challenge! In conclusion, a shit loa...

Lupos Explains: September 2008

http://luposexplains.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Homecoming reviews part 1. OXM has provided the nadir when it come to the reviews of the game so far, because the others have been pretty good. Here's GCHD's review. Which gave it an 85%, here's Ugo.com's. Which gave it an A , and 1up's review. Monday, September 29, 2008. The first review of Homecoming that managed to slip out was awful; a paltry 6.5! The story is fucking tight, the visuals are amazing, and the gameplay mechanics are awesome. Then there's Alan Wake. Which is ...
