Just another WordPress.com site. Spring Break →. March 19, 2012. So this weekend I went to Las Fallas in Valencia with my roommates and had a blast! To describe a little of what Las Fallas is, it is where they have these big sculptures (almost as big as the buildings) made out of fibre glass. They all represent political satires of some sort and on the last night of Las Fallas they burn them! Here are some pictures of the sculptures. They look like characters from a cartoon. The tapas we had were really interesting. I get tapas a lot but I had never seen tapas like these.
