Our Hands His Heart. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Friday, March 30, 2012 at. Fortunately we have a God who has our back. He knows what is in front of us and is working, often behind the scenes, to prepare us for upcoming change. Funny in life it seems as though the minute you get things figured out life. Proverbs 4:18, “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”. Nuggets of simple-truths written by Richard A. Harris #7. Think of this nugge...

Our Hands His Heart. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Sunday, December 26, 2010 at. This is the time of year a trance falls upon the North Texas area. Fortunately it only last for a month or five weeks at the most. None the less it is very serious while it is with us and one that I feel I need to inform you of. Here are the traits of those under the Christmas Traffic spell:. If you or anyone you love has these symptoms put down your laptop and immediately call for medical and emotional assistance imme...

Our Hands His Heart. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Friday, March 30, 2012 at. My family takes a mobile library to children in a mobile home park. A key ingredient in this ministry is plastic milk crates. The library books go in the milk crates thus making them critical. Unfortunately recently we ran out of milk crates as well as two of our resources in obtaining them. You got it, milk. Perhaps you have a need, a big need! Have you asked God about it? Our Hands His Heart. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at. Jason Garrett is the first year coach of the Dallas Cowboys and thus is in the prayers of all here in Dallas; trust me he needs all the prayer he can get. Garrett is not only a coach but also played fourteen years for several different teams in the NFL as a backup quarterback. This is a fantastic attitude not only for a football player but for each of us. Here it is; too many of us are bogged down with the past allow...

Our Hands His Heart. Running Circles Around the Old Man. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at. Caleb had me laughing as he jumped, twisted and hoped around the circle. I was a bit fearful he might fall but there was no way I was going to tell him to stop all that extra activity and just run. A good father knows when to let it go. But it was the mental I was more worried about. How would this stumble affect him? Would he want to run with me again? We all fail/fall at some time o...

Our Hands His Heart. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at. As I travel the border I have passed many international bridges. I have stood in the markets and looked across the river with the ability to throw a rock to the other side. I have stood and watched people as they cross over in both car and on foot. Let’s talk reality for a second, then ask ourselves a question, then finally apply it:. What would be your response? We each have to deal with our spiritual borders. It seems ...

Our Hands His Heart. Voices over the Fence. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at. There are seasons in my garage’s life. For some of those seasons my garage is a storage unit for ministry. I have four children at home under the age of 14 and at times I have two grandchildren with us from time to time that are two and under. Let me assure you that getting in the family vehicle can be a bit of a challenge. Then there are the moments we have to chase someone around the car, or g...

Our Hands His Heart. Hallmark v. The World. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Friday, March 30, 2012 at. I must admit that I often make fun of the Hallmark channel. I tell my wife I could write a Hallmark movie in thirty minutes. It does not take long to figure out what couple is going to end up together and how it is going to happen. Most the movies are predictable and downright corny much of the time. Hallmark movies are about redemption, unconditional love, forgiveness, and long term commitment.

Our Hands His Heart. A Busy God Part Two. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Thursday, January 27, 2011 at. Birthday’s are really anniversary’s; days you celebrate your birth. This day is for me is both an anniversary and a birthday celebration. Five years ago on this very day God chose to gift me with Gracie Muriel Harris and just as importantly He used the opportunity to make a new man of me; I needed both. He has reminded me that talk is cheap and actions show the true desire of the heart. This is th...

Our Hands His Heart. Posted by Richard Harris. Posted On Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at. When I was 6 years old I spent most of my time outside like most children in the 60’s. One day I was running in my neighbor’s back yard, it was a little wet and I slipped. This would have been no big deal except for the fact I slipped on an old piece of wood. What I did as a child many are trying to do as adults; Cleaning already healed scars. Don’t let an old scar continue to condemn you! Leave the old scar alone! There...
