So, you might have heard that on Wednesday the tenth of February we hosted a night of music, art and literature at Holocene. You might have heard correctly. The night was a reading/ installation/ party/ concert and we at PC enjoyed it oh so very much. We hope you enjoyed it, too.

http://poorclaudia.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Fine Works, Printed and Bound. Friday, March 5, 2010. PC and PILOT SITTING IN A TREE. Pilot Books, a wonderful small press bookshop in Seattle, tossed a little love our way. POOR CLAUDIA: January 2010
http://poorclaudia.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Fine Works, Printed and Bound. Monday, January 25, 2010. BOOKS ARE THINGS FOR PEOPLE. We like books. A lot. Here's what's on our nightstand this week. Okay, wow. So, did you know about this Gobrowicz cat, because we did not! An iconoclastic Pole who fled to Buenos Aires days before the outbreak of WWII, Gombrowicz's airy, bizzare anti-nationalist stories read like Kafka filtered through a fairy tale machine. They are quite breathtaking. Once you finish with Bacacay. Sawako Nakayasu's Texture Notes. Come ...

POOR CLAUDIA: IDOL IDYLL #1: JOHN BERRYMAN
http://poorclaudia.blogspot.com/2010/01/idol-idyll-1-john-berryman.html
Fine Works, Printed and Bound. Thursday, January 21, 2010. IDOL IDYLL #1: JOHN BERRYMAN. To see excerpts from two 1967 interviews with PC-approved poet John Berryman. Following the publication of Berryman's first 77 DREAM SONGS, these clips from a BBC profile of the poet (a network television profile of a major cultural figure not associated with said network's own celebrity-driven media machine - how quaint! And literary celebrity ("Poets don't receive a lot of fan mail."). Enjoy. The second issue of PC...

http://distractedbywords.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 10, 2010. You Will Join a Cult. Anyway, welcome to Distracted by Movies (tm)! Here's a few flicks I've seen in the past year that are totally worth checking out if you are sick n tired of the Hollywood turd-machine. 1) House: It was at the point in this movie where the young Asian woman gets assaulted for 5 minutes by flying mattresses that I knew I had made an excellent choice. Features: A midget dressed in a schoolboy outfit getting it's face fully blown off by a shotgun blast; Coll...
