Continuing the story of blues-rock, funk, and soul. Ottawa Showbox: Review of our set at Doldrums. Posted Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 in Reviews. Last Saturday we played Doldrums for our third consecutive year. As always, the anxiety inducing Ottawa winter lent a desperate edge to our performance. The crowd and the talent were remarkable! Here is an excerpt of a review from Ottawa Showbox. Click here for a full review of the evening. Special thanks to Lucas Mackenzie who organized the event.

No Cause for Concern? fanzine - Info
http://www.nocauseforconcern.com/info.html
April, 1982. Ottawa, Canada. Three punk/hardcore fans decide to start a fanzine. We call it No Cause for Concern? Before the net, before P.C.s, before the local press would touch alternative music, and before the underground sold out to corporate grunge, NCFC galvanized, lauded, created a forum for and frequently pissed off Ottawa's alternative population. To read the old issues, click The Zine on the nav bar at the left, then pick an issue. Has been updated (so far). E will appear in. The original 'zine...

No Cause for Concern? fanzine - Sharing the Post-Punk Love
http://www.nocauseforconcern.com/index.html
This is for all the punks who were there back then – and for all those still making it happen. Occasionally, this site will post. Current news stories - although no promises about their timeliness - but it's main purpose is as an archive of No Cause for Concern? Fanzine, pubished in 1982-1984 (see THE ZINE link on the left). Guess who's been too lazy to post any updates for a WHOLE YEAR? Installment #3: Jo Capitalicide. Were interviewed October 10, 2010, in Chicago before their set at Riot Fest. And ther...

No Cause for Concern? fanzine - The Interviews
http://www.nocauseforconcern.com/interviews.html
NCFC managed to get a couple of good interviews with people heavily involved in the scene back in the day and will be working on updated ones. Government Issue's front man:. 1983 interview in Issue #9. True Sounds of Liberty. Front man Jack Ladoga interviewed before a show. Should need no introduction. Long-time manager of D.O.A. and a major player in the early punk scene. Minor Threat's legendary front man, in case you didn't already know. Front man for Iron Cross. Front man for Black Market Baby.

No Cause for Concern? fanzine - John Stabb Interview
http://nocauseforconcern.com/issues/NCFC-9/9-12-Stabb.html
No Cause for Concern? Issue #9 June 1984 Page 12 John Stabb Interview. Now that Minor Threat has broken up, John Stabb feels that GOVENMENT ISSUE will be the next big band from D.C. The way is clear for the Masters of Disaster, the Rock n Roll Maniacs. Watch out, Ozzy! UPDATE: John Stabb continued in the music scene with a band called Factory Incident. More in post-punk terriritory than his previous stuff. Check them out on. He's followed that with a band called History Repeated. To read the new interview.
