Erika with a K. Slightly eccentric. just slightly. Round and Round we go. We stopped at the Punalu'u Bake Shop - the southernmost bakery in the US. The guava bread is FANTASTIC! My Grandma at the Black Sand Beach. The black sand in Brian's hand - it's much more coarse than regular sand - created by hot lava hitting the cold sea water and shattering. Notice the contrast between the stark lava field and the green hills beyond. This is the visitor center at the volcano - and the waterfall coming off the roof.

And ended up on this LONG, straight, dead-end road that had signs that said "burial" on either side every few yards - between the palm trees - and when we looked carefully, we could see the mongooses. It was so much fun as each ward was assigned to do a culture and perform on stage while everyone fed their faces with food from all over the place! Our ward shared their SAMOAN heritage and really did an awesome job! Making this our 4th BOY out of 7 children! I can't keep my hands off of the TARGET sales racks. There is so many cute things!

One story at a time. Friday, December 18, 2009. 17 weeks Pregnant and Counting! So this will be baby #7 for us and this pregnancy has had so many dips, curves and uneasy roller coaster vibes that we've really had a run for our money! So far I've been continuing my daily routine but with a little more caution. My mother in law will be here for 2 weeks and I am so excited to have her help during this time. I'm thankful for my family and their efforts in helping wherever they can! Im regretting that now.
