Oct 15, 2000. Well I made it home today. Mom and Dad stayed the night to see what kind of things I'm up to in the wee hours of the morning and to get some experience managing my Gavage feedings. Things went so well that we left the hospital at 9:00 to be home just in time so my brother and sisters could see me before darting off to Sat. activies (Birthday Party and Soccer games). It just seemed like yesterday that I came into the world and now a week and a half later they are letting me go home.

Oct 4, 2000. Born at 12:11 pm. Just in time to be wheeled down to Neonatel ICU and enjoy the afternoon in the sun. I was lucky enough to get a window seat in the Level 3 facility. My heart rate is low and my breathing is shallow since I have just arrived and I am still managing how to do all of these things.
