Learning for Living: August 2007
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Thursday, August 30, 2007. 3 wkts in 32 overs? NO CAN DO SIR! That's what Team India said at Old Trafford today. When was the last time you saw a bowling attack so fuckin incapable of bowling wicket-taking deliveries? And this is supposed to be the pride and joy of more than a billion people - the Indian Cricket Team, HA! They almost did the unthinkable today when RP and Dhoni ran out Collingwood! So just...

Learning for Living: ...because, it's there!
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007/08/because-its-there.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Because, it's there! On top of the peak, after an arduous 6-hr climb, I lay exhausted. soaking up the sun. And I thought. Why did I want to climb this peak? Was it prove my fitness to myself? I could have done that in the gym or in the pool. didn't need to take a 3-day trip to Yosemite for that! Because the peak was there to be taken. Because the waves are there to be conquered.

Learning for Living: December 2007
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Friday, December 21, 2007. A time to look back…. And that’s what irritates the hell out of me. I don’t need a friggin relaxed year at this time in my life. I need daily excitement. I need challenges that will make me reach out beyond myself. I need to feel the rush! Links to this post. Learning for Living: April 2007
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Life's a bitch. or perhaps a beach. Perhaps you want a bit of both! A high paying cushy job. or the grime and glory of pursuing a dream. Mind you the glory is not guaranteed. But those who start loving the grime don't give a flying. A wardrobe full of brands for yourself. or spending that fat paycheck for a cause. A good book on a lazy afternoon. or a smashing workout. A Walk in...

Learning for Living: September 2007
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Swearing is good for health. A good loud swear is like a roaring ringing sneeze - leaves a wake of distressed neighbours, but relieves you like nothing else can, at that precise moment. Everytime I let one out, I feel lighter. I feel happier for having dumped my load of unhappiness instead of lugging it around. So next time you feel like it, just let it rip. But then I have se...

Learning for Living: May 2007
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Wednesday, May 02, 2007. Things that absolutely frustrate me and make me want to rip my hair out…. Not having enough work to occupy the entire day. Moments when I feel incapable of any thought, not because I am exhausted, but because there simply isn’t anything I am thinking about. Absolute BLANK! People not taking ownership of their tasks. Lack of respect for other’s time. Links to this post. Facebook re...

Learning for Living: December 2006
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Tuesday, December 19, 2006. Time to move ass again! Used to be sports when I was a kid - anything competitive to get the adrenalin going. Then for sometime it was electronics - I mean the challenge of making new circuits, typical jr. college days. ya know! Then it was extra-curricular activities - coz that meant expansion of friend circle beyond the college gang and beyond just engineers! It's funny - I f...

Learning for Living: A ball, a stick and some Instincts...
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007/08/ball-stick-and-some-instincts.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Friday, August 24, 2007. A ball, a stick and some Instincts. Golf is a funny game. There's one school of golf which swears by the art and technique of a swing. And the swing is the end-all be-all of the sport for them. Everything else falls in right if you master the swing! But of course no one has the ideal swing. Would it be Tiger's? Or would it be Nickalus'? Or would it be mine? 9:48 AM, August 27, 2007.

Learning for Living: You know it's time...
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2007/09/you-know-its-time.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Friday, September 07, 2007. You know it's time. You know it's time to start looking for a job when. 4 executives are sitting and chatting about at the breakfast table for the last 15 mins in the cafeteria at 9am on a Tuesday morning. When all the thrones in the restroom are always occupied. When replying to an email within the hour is considered prompt response. Oh yeah . tell me about it . :). Spew - tha...

Learning for Living: November 2006
http://learningforliving.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Some lessons learnt, some observations, some gyaan and some random trash from my very ordinary life. Thursday, November 16, 2006. Running, fighting, breaking. Wonder why you get tired at the end of a hard day merely sitting in front of a laptop? Well there are the physiological reasons on one side which explain the obvious. But then who likes obvious answers. Consider what we, the modern-day knowledge workers, do all day in our consulting and revolutionary IT endeavors. Links to this post. Has been worki...
