For the first time in what seems like months, the wind finally begun to blow downstream again, and, true to form, the salmon begun to run upstream! Whether right or wrong, the wind backing westerly and blowing strong over the weekend proved to be the catalyst for fish to run the river, but it did not stop some fish stopping off at the Rothes beat on Monday and Tuesday.
