We've all been blessed. We just have to choose to see it that way. Wow I laugh when I see my last post was 6.21.09. I guess I've been busy. July 5-11 Was spent in Rosebud, SD with 13 soon to be 9 th. Grade students and 5 other adults. The students were AMAZING! Thursday the 9 th. I asked them different questions about their lives only to find out that Terry was the only one willing to carry a conversation. Darrell just watched, the other two men worked together on their own thing. Terry finally s...I loo...

We've all been blessed. We just have to choose to see it that way. I grew up in this small town, Union, IA. I try to tell people what life was like there, but quite frankly when you grow up in Ames or any other bigger town similar.it's hard to imagine a town of 600. And that's INCLUDING all the people in the country. A little bit further north and you get the view that encompasses the largest quantity. I would hate to know their electric bill. We've all been blessed. We just have to choose to see it that way. Grande size it please. I was talking with one of my awesome friends Jessie Vasquez a week or so ago about God's blessings. She was telling me about how much God had blessed her recently and she was able to recount many of the things she felt blessed by. We all have someone in our lives that could use a blessing. And it's my belief that God could use us to be a blessing to them. So I challenged Jessie, and myself to the next time w...

We've all been blessed. We just have to choose to see it that way. All things for My good.". It's been almost a year. How does that happen! Life has been teaching me so much. I think the consistent theme is that God can and does use all things for His greater good. Both of which were incredibly hard, and not at all how my mind envisioned being used by Him. But that's the best part! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. All things for My good. What I follow up on. Tweets I haven't posted.

Blessed: Creating in the Kitchen

We've all been blessed. We just have to choose to see it that way. Creating in the Kitchen. About a year ago I found out that I have Celiac Disease. What is that you ask? Well it's an auto-immune disease where you're body rejects the gluten protein or leavening agent in wheat. There is no cure for it other than to avoid food with wheat in it. I've been creating and trying recipes here and there for new options. and here are two good ones so far:. 2-3 Tbsp Baking Soda. 1-2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon. Subscribe ...

We've all been blessed. We just have to choose to see it that way. I'm a hard worker. I enjoy being diligent at my job and getting a lot accomplished in a days work. I'm thankful I have a job that involves some physical labor, which allows me to feel like I 'worked'.However when it comes to deadlines, I suck. Waiting until the last minute, I'm seeing, in many ways, limits my view of God. By waiting I end up not expecting something BIG, or trusting in Him through the situation. I truly desire both...I lov...

We've all been blessed. We just have to choose to see it that way. Wisdom #1 Fantasizing vs. Accepting. I read this awesome book Wisdom Hunter that my boss suggested. Awesome is an understatement. More on the book later. However there was a concept in that book that I'm going to be applying from now and that was writing down the big things I learn along the way. What did I think about at least 70% of the way back. her statement of course! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Zack Ludwig ...
