Jillify It: December 2013
http://www.jillifyit.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 13, 2013. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! I thought I would jump on the Christmas home tour bandwagon, since I love looking at other houses decorated for Christmas. I enjoy decorating our home, and you will see that I am a fan of simple when it comes to decor. I'll start the tour with our living room. I decorated the stair railing, the mantel and the tree. I love how our living area opens up into the kitchen so the tree can be seen from all angles. Links to this post.

Thursday, February 27, 2014. Board and Batten Project. My husband and I had talked about putting up board and batten for a few months, but knew it would be a huge job. This was one of our biggest projects to date, but made such an impact! I am in love with how it turned out! We started with some free labor. Ha! She begged us to help rip off the old baseboards! This little girl loves anything DIY. Just like her Mom and Dad! Saves so much time! Ahh Starting to see what it's going to look like! Labels: befo...

Friday, January 25, 2013. Beautiful Dish Soap DIY! First, let me apologize for being MIA for a few months. I love posting on the blog, but let it get away from me. I feel like I've let you down. I am going to try harder to post more often. I've got LOTS to show you! I just finished a quick and easy dish soap beautification project! Beautification. I LIKE that word. I started by picking up an interesting vase at my local flower shop. I then ordered the valve dispenser from Amazon.com. Links to this post.

Jillify It: January 2014
http://www.jillifyit.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 8, 2014. I am excited to share with you a project that I have completed for our dining room! I purchased a smelly old china hutch on Craigslist for $60 and my husband couldn't believe I would even think about trying to make it pretty. It was BAD! I used Annie Sloan chalk paint for the hutch and used her brushes as well. The thing I love most about using chalk paint is that there is no prep work, other than giving it a good cleaning. No sanding or priming at all! Links to this post.

Farmhouse for Five: Fall Outdoor Tablescape
http://www.farmhouseforfive.com/2016/11/fall-outdoor-tablescape.html
I've joined up with 6 blogger friends to bring you all Thanksgiving tablescape ideas with a fall recipe! It's my absolute favorite time of year! Cozy blankets and sweaters, hot apple cider, crisp air, and football of course, are just a few reasons why I love fall. Knowing we are in the month of November always brings on that anxious feeling of celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas! It also gave me an excuse to decorate another Thanksgiving/fall themed tablescape! My girls loved this! 1 can green beans.
