http://palmettopixie.blogspot.com/2012/03/camellia-time-2012.html
Friday, March 2, 2012. As promised a few days ago, I'm going to share some recent photos of beautiful camellias that Philip has devoted much time to over the last few years. They do get better and better each year as the plants grow and mature. This unusually mild winter has certainly been good for them. Ours are not nearly so impressive, but here is what we have enjoyed in our yard this winter/spring. Stay tuned and hopefully I can stay motivated! Philip is a talent! March 26, 2012 at 5:39 PM. Palmetto Pixie: March 2011
http://palmettopixie.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 6, 2011. Early spring is the time of year we get to marvel in the beauty of our camellias in the deep South. This is a beautiful flower. Stately with just a hint of pink. It was tagged incorrectly; it looks a lot like Moonlight Bay further down the page. Melissa Anne has a large white flower with ruffled petals. I have been anxious for these delicate rose-like blooms to open before we have more bad weather. Here it is today: Moonlight Bay! These are Betty Sheffied Supreme. A Way to Garden.

Sunday, June 27, 2010. Fifty-five years . . . and Counting. I am so proud to use a little blog space today to congratulate our parents, Joan and Fred, on FIFTY-FIVE years of marriage. They have quietly put down their roots and been wonderful role models for their children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren. Friday, August 13, 2010. Just wanted to share a few pictures I took this morning of this white trumpet plant showing off its new blooms. I have read in some places this grows as a weed. Also, parts of the plants are poisonous - so beware! Here is a link. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! Sunday, August 8, 2010. Favorite Pork Chop Casserole. I thought it would be nice to share one of our favorite family recipes. Sister Cathy says there is no way to mess this up! Baked Pork Chops - Arabian. 1 bell pepper - sliced.

Palmetto Pixie: September 2010

Monday, September 6, 2010. Fall Smocking for Lee. We enjoyed spending a little time with Ashley, David, and Annette and Lee in Aiken this weekend. It is so hard to believe that the twins are almost a year old. They are changing so rapidly: both are crawling and "pulling up" on the furniture. They both like eating "real food" and feeding themselves. They are learning to use sippy cups, but still have a great fondness for their bottles. The ready - to- smock outfit was purchased at Rosalina's.
