ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A. Our life in Nunavut. Sunday, 13 January 2013. It's been a year. I am sure you remember when I first wrote about our little secret, when we adopted Storm. It seems like yesterday when we decided to take that tiny innocent puppy home. She is no longer tiny and for sure not innocent either. But the decision to take her in was probably one of the best ones we made. Happy Birthday to our little girl (or not so little anymore)! Here are some the fun moments in Storm's first year:.

ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A: June 2013
http://arcticadventuresofaa.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A. Our life in Nunavut. Sunday, 30 June 2013. Pictou might not be the most famous town in Nova Scotia, nor one of the main tourist destinations. However, I think it should be mentioned anyway. Even though it is not as known as other towns, it is one of the important places in Nova Scotia. Hector - the replica. Small lighthouse at the harbour. The town has a little harbour, with a short boardwalk. You can check out a small fisheries museum, where you can learn all about marine l...

ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A: Charlottetown
http://arcticadventuresofaa.blogspot.com/2013/08/charlottetown.html
ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A. Our life in Nunavut. Monday, 5 August 2013. Charlottetown is the capital of Prince Edward Island. Just like the Island itself, the town is really original. It is perfect for this island. You will not see the tall glass banks, or modern business district like buildings here, and that is the greatest thing about Charlottetown. No one seems to be rushing anywhere, people are walking their dogs, kids eating ice cream, it just seems that there is this calm and happy feeling in the ai...

ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A. Our life in Nunavut. Wednesday, 7 August 2013. SURGERY WILL HAPPEN, AFTER ALL! THIS IS MY WRIST UPDATE. I am writing quick update now, as I don't know when I will be able to write after Friday. The worst part was that if I hadn't called, I would be still sitting at home waiting to this day. I was flying to Toronto 2 weeks later. This is unbelievable considering how many things had to be sent off, approved, booked, confirmed, filled out and sent again. I arrived to Toront...I hop...

ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A. Our life in Nunavut. Monday, 5 August 2013. It is the longest bridge in Canada. When it comes to the world records, this one is also "the longest bridge in the world crossing ice-covered water". Yes, there are categories even in the bridge group :). We spent only few days on Prince Edward Island, but we loved it. We went to Charlottetown, Cavendish, Summerside and just enjoyed driving around the island to see its beauty, to take it all in. Thank you for reading, my friends :).

ARCTIC ADVENTURES OF A&A. Our life in Nunavut. Tuesday, 21 May 2013. When in Quebec City - Do not miss this! So to a small village of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre we went. What is so interesting about the place? The basilica is absolutely beautiful and it is a must see, even for a non-religious person with no need for miracles. I can appreciate the beauty and even though during my travels I have seen many cathedrals and churches in many countries, this one was truly unexpectedly great. First of all, you do not...

So it is little over 2 months after surgery now, actually almost 3. The pictures below are at about two month mark. My scar is still pink, but swelling is gone and fingers look almost normal. This one is harder to heal, but it is less visible and I am working on making it softer. So what got done? My next appointment is in December, so we will see what they say the...
