Learning Outside the Classroom. Learning Outside the Classroom. There are a few clubs I’ve looked into joining when I get to the U, the question is more of whether I’ll have time to participate. I am hoping in the future that I’ll be able to join in some extra curricular activities so I’m not just floating in between classes, so to speak. If I do join in anything, I will be sure to update this page. Click to email (Opens in new window). Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). A Girl Can Dream.

Learning Outside the Classroom. POLS 1100: U.S. Government and Politics. Am Institutions General Education Requirement. This class I cannot expand on with an assignment because I actually took this as a concurrent enrollment course in the 11th grade through Utah State College. I had the credit transferred into SLCC so I wouldn’t have to take it again. However, I can reflect on the course itself. Click to email (Opens in new window). Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Learning Outside the Classroom. Eng 1010: English 1010. Composition General Education Requirement. What I think I learned the most out of this course was simply to think outside the obvious lines. When we did our textual and visual analysis essays, they introduced a completely new style of thinking to me and it definitely helped to apply that to other areas of my research and college work. Also, comma splices. My professor hated those so now I know to try to stay away. Click to email (Opens in new window).

Learning Outside the Classroom. Back in the Swing of Things. November 21, 2012. So back in the day, when I was about 12, I coded and designed websites like crazy. I had fan websites dedicated to characters from video games, I had portfolios, I was into it like there was nothing else better to do. Which I guess back then there wasn’t. Nothing about designing and nothing beyond simple html for coding. I opened Photoshop again the other day to edit a logo and was baffled. Click to email (Opens in new window).
