Friday, 27 April 2012. Mr and Mrs Outstanding. The school inspection is over and we have received the feedback from the 12 person inspection team. The school has been classed in the "Outstanding" category in ALL SIX of the inspected areas. The highest possible award. That means we are all outstanding. Wednesday, 10 April 2013. Did the earth move for you honey? Although the big earthquake was in nearby Iran, only a slight tremor was felt here in Bahrain. Personally we never noticed it but some tall buildings were evacuated as a precaution. All safe and well here. The hotel next to Ashley's shop was one of those evacuated but she was in the shop at the time and I believe, like us, felt nothing. 10 April 2013 at 13:29. Monday, 29 October 2012. I don't believe it! In the words of the great Victor Meldrew, I don't believe it. Yesterday we had RAIN . in OCTOBER! Mind you it was only a few spots and never even wet the ground other than a few drops but it was definitely raining. Maybe they understand now why they can't skype us after tea time. Monday, 20 August 2012. Hi anyone who is still reading my posts. We are back in Bahrain having enjoyed a five week summer holiday in Scotland. We were pretty lucky with the weather considering what you have all had to put up with this year. We had some lovely days and managed to enjoy many games of golf on a lot of courses. I even managed to win a couple of prizes. We are really looking forward to all of our visitors arriving. If you want to be next then drop me a line. Ah well onwards and upwards.
