Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge. Our membership is a diverse group of people interested in the narrow gauges absorbed by the Southern Pacific. Some are modeling the railroads in anyone of a number of scales. Some are interested in exploring the former routes and alignments of the railroads. Others are interested in the equipment and the history of the lines. Some members grew up along the railroad and others only hope to visit it someday. Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge. Annual Meetings and Conferences (Conventions). The Society holds an annual Conference that includes our annual membership meeting. The annual meeting is like that of any other historical society with reports by the officers and the results of an annual mail ballot election. It also provides for input and discussion by the membership. The annual meeting is part of a several day conference devoted to presentations and field trips related to the narrow gauge railroads of the SP.
