http://annieandscottie.blogspot.com/2015/03/hannahs-1st-day-of-preschool.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Hannah's 1st Day of Preschool! Hannah's 1st day of preschool was almost 3 months ago, so I guess it's time to share some pics of the momentous day. She had been begging me for over a year to go to preschool, so she was super excited! We were very blessed to find a great preschool (with an opening mid-year! Hannah wanted to wear her preschool t-shirt (and have an Elsa braid) for her first day of preschool! I had to get a picture on the front porch! Hannahs 1st Day of Preschool!

Writers of Rohan: Well, That Was Traumatic
http://www.jaredandmary.com/2015/03/well-that-was-traumatic.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Well, That Was Traumatic. It started with a cat. We’ve been having some pretty nice spring weather lately; on Wednesday afternoon, Timothy decided to go out on the deck after school and enjoy some sunshine. What he didn’t plan on was a cat that knocked the dowel back into the sliding glass door track, effectively locking him outside. He replied, “Good. You can take Sarah to the E.R.”. We trundled off to the E.R. at around 7 pm They ...Sarah...

Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, January 18, 2015. Here is part two of our Christmas day. We spent the day with the Lawrence family, and enjoyed the new remodeling of Richard and Suzanne’s home in Brigham City. Fortunately the weather was wet, but not too bad on the drive. We chatted and played some before dinner. And we all fit in the dining room, if only barely. After dinner, many of the grandkids went outside to play in the snow, of which there was plenty. And some other moments. She w...

Writers of Rohan: November 2014
http://www.jaredandmary.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, November 30, 2014. I’ll preface this by saying that this happened at the beginning of September. (But it resembles my life today with some similarities, but more on that later.). And that’s when I found his head wound. And the blood on the floor and her bed. His head was tender for a few days, but he is just fine. I can see a little spot on his head where the scab was and where there isn’t as much hair, but that is all that remains. 8221; (a slightly modif...

C is for...: Christmas festivities
http://annieandscottie.blogspot.com/2015/02/christmas-festivities.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. Christmas seems like a long time ago. Here are some pics of our festivities. We started our festivities by picking out a Charlie Brown Christmas tree at the beginning of December:. Ok So we didn't pick this tree, but Hannah sure looked cute next to it. Our annual outing to Festival of Trees:. Hannah LOVED all the many Frozen-themed trees- even this tiny one! We enjoyed our traditional Chinese dinner after the festival. Quick trip to St. George for the Forgotten Carols:. We enjo...

I Think I Speak For Everyone Here When I Say, "Huh? Some of my thoughts, ideas, and anything else that might amuse me. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Top 5: Worst Country Cover Songs Edition. While surfing CNN.com a while back I came across this story. 5 Faith Hill - Piece Of My Heart. I realize that the Janis Joplin version of this song was a cover as well, but what was Faith Hill thinking when she covered this song? 4 Jack Ingram - Lips Of An Angel. Did he not pay attention to the words? I can believe th...

Writers of Rohan: The Little Things
http://www.jaredandmary.com/2015/06/the-little-things.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Really, it is the little things that make one happy, and in this instance, it was the little things that drove me crazy. This is how my pantry was set up when we moved in. (Minus a few more layers of that floral covering stuff that was on all the shelves at one point. I may have ripped some of it off.). Jared looked at the shelves, did some planning and measurements, and came up with an alternative. If you look closely, you can see that s...

The Becca's Thoughts . . .: Bread 3: Whole wheat honey oatmeal
http://thebeccasthoughts.blogspot.com/2015/02/bread-3-whole-wheat-honey-oatmeal.html
The Becca's Thoughts . . . Sometimes I think things. Meet the newest member of our family here! Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Bread 3: Whole wheat honey oatmeal. I love this bread! It was the first bread we made in our new loaf pan. Bons helped me pick it out at Williams Sonoma. This bread was tasty, fluffy, and easily the best sandwich loaf I've ever made. I haven't had great success with yeasty-sandwich loaves in the past; they're often denser than I like. This one is perfect. Bread 2: No Knead. Phase 1...
