http://lesliemarshallblog.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 22, 2011. Here Comes Peter Cottontail. All last week I had been prepping Clay for the Easter Bunny. I kept telling him that the Easter Bunny was going to be at the church Easter Egg Hunt and that when he saw him, he needed to go give him "5" and then say "cheese" so I could take his picture with the Easter Bunny. We rehearsed everything multiple times. Clay was READY! See this was right when the Easter Bunny walked in. All smiles. Still excited. maybe slightly frightened. Oh, heck no! Let's...

Flour Children: January 2013
http://flour-children.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 28, 2013. I've been doing the Women Living Well. Valentine's Day Challenge. I was afraid that I'd see how I need to do better in this area, and that has been the case. Posted by Carrie Hanbury. Friday, January 25, 2013. I love bread. For real. It's fun to make, and kneading bread sometimes keeps me from killing people! Kidding. Mostly.) It smells good and there is nothing quite as good to eat as fresh bread with butter. And that time when you pull the bread out of the oven. Thursday, Janu...

Flour Children: The Me I Am Becoming
http://flour-children.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-me-i-am-becoming.html
Saturday, December 29, 2012. The Me I Am Becoming. The person I am today barely recognizes the person I was at the. Beginning of this year. It's rare that I get the occasion to see. Myself with enough clarity, casting off the lens of self-criticism I. Typical view myself through, in order to see how much I have changed. One of my recurring prayers is that God will make me want to be. Obedient, and that he'll make me better. I tell myself at least once a. What to do and then act on it. I cannot tell y...

Identity. – Be still. Know.
https://kylelgilbert.com/2010/11/02/identity
Be still. Know. Seeking balance, rhythm, and focus in life, love, and ministry. I haven’t had much to say lately. So, I’ve let the weeds grow up around this space on the web. A good dusting could be in order. Like any other haunted house at the beginning of November. It’s not that I haven’t wanted to write more. But for some reason, words don’t seem to come as easily as a few months ago. Maybe it’s because I’ve pulled away from friends. Maybe it’s because I’m getting restless here. Or am I the only one?

Flour Children: July 2013
http://flour-children.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 20, 2013. Making mountains out of molehills. I like to make a big deal out of small things. Now, I'm not talking about all the times I've imagined some hidden meaning in people's words and actions. That's something I'm working on, I promise. All summer long, I've been watching my friends post pictures of their vacations. I've listened to their tales of warm sun, sand in between their toes, and relaxation. I am happy for them. An old pic of us in front of the Capitol building. Posted by Car...

http://flour-children.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. Week in Review- In which we get started. I am pleased to announce that not only have we all survived yet another first week of school, I daresay that this year, we are thriving. No one has been complaining, or whiny, or even too hard to find when I announce, "It's time to start school." I do not want to curl up in a ball and pray for gypsies. Hooray! I am going to chalk it all up to God (props! Books read: Leonardo and the Flying Boy. Martin Luther: A Man Who Changed the World.

Flour Children: May 2012
http://flour-children.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 24, 2012. 2011-2012 Year in Review. I knew I hadn't blogged for a while, but I had no idea it was so long. I can't say I'm surprised, as it was a rough winter around here, and I was absolutely not in the mood for, well, anything. On a positive note, things are much better, spring has sprung, and we're winding up the school year. Flour Children petting a ray. Always fun! Monopoly. For about 2 months here, this is what my table looked like. Every. Day. Goofy and Scrappy played basketball.
