Furnace question - Exploratory ramblings. February 1st, 2011. This past summer, my husband and I had a new, 95% efficient Reem furnace installed. We had it installed by a contractor who made sure it had a capacity to thoroughly heat the entire house. I shudder to think what our heating bill would have been with the original-with-house furnace that had been 60% efficient (and was about 30 years old! February 1st, 2011 06:32 pm (UTC). New Venue Opens This Weekend! This weekend marks the grand opening of our new all ages venue, the Waiting Room. We're hoping to re-establish a permanent space for bands to play in a comfortable atmosphere. This weekend is our grand opening and we'd love to see you all come out and support this space. All shows are at the Waiting Room, which is located at 7016 N Glenwood in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood, 1 1/2 blocks north of the Morse stop on the red line. Doors are at 6, bands at 7. most shows are 7 bucks unless otherwise noted. We are a Chicago punk band, and that is it. We play what we like to hear, because no one else is doing it.
