Thinking Without a Box: August 2012
http://thinkingwithoutabox-emi.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thinking Without a Box. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Grey Everything is grey. I'm standing outside of a funeral home. People walk by me, try to comfort me but they're just blurs in black. Words have no meaning to my drowning ears. Black Everything is black. I'm wearing the dress I wore to Grammy's funeral. My mother says he's gone somewhere better now. That he's in heaven and happy. She says she's conquered her grief, that I'm a young lady and should do the same. Red Everything is red. Grey Everything is grey.

Thinking Without a Box: Friday Funnies
http://thinkingwithoutabox-emi.blogspot.com/2012/07/friday-funnies.html
Thinking Without a Box. Friday, July 6, 2012. Friday, July 06, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I've never been able to "think inside the box." Or even "outside the box." I don't see a box. My thinking is so crazily unique that I don't think that anyone else has ever thought even remotely close to me. View my complete profile. There was an error in this gadget. Writer's Block: Wordless Wednesday

Completely random musings to clear a cluttered brain. Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Bit About Me. Born in Maryland, the youngest of three girls, I moved around lots - including two years in England where I met my hubby. I worked for Highlights for Children. And the Reading Eagle. Now, I am "mommying" three sweeties and penning a future "bestseller" or two. *wink*. View my complete profile. Has it really been 10 years since I posted my first blog post on here? Lynne T&...

Thinking Without a Box: Being Busy Can Make You Miss Out On All the Small Things in Life
http://thinkingwithoutabox-emi.blogspot.com/2012/08/being-busy-can-make-you-miss-out-on-all.html
Thinking Without a Box. Thursday, August 16, 2012. Being Busy Can Make You Miss Out On All the Small Things in Life. That's really all I can say about this summer. Obviously, from the lack of posts, you as a reader can surmise that I was:. Kidnapped by zombies and forced to make them pancakes. In a coma all summer from a skydiving lesson gone wrong. Really busy and exhausted (okay, and a bit too lazy to write.). Okay, everyone knows the answer is of course C. For Voices about it and made a video.

Writer's Block: Some Thoughts...
http://writersblock-susie.blogspot.com/2015/01/some-thoughts.html
Completely random musings to clear a cluttered brain. Thursday, January 22, 2015. Editor's note: This was written back in October 2014. What if Michael Brown had been a white kid on drugs going after a black cop? Where would the sympathies lie? Would this even be in the news? Probably not, and it's my guess that that has happened countless times. Racism goes both ways, and it takes both sides to see it to erase it. Even "good kids" can make bad choices. Or having his first child? A Bit About Me. I got th...

Writer's Block: Mom Law
http://writersblock-susie.blogspot.com/2015/01/mom-law.html
Completely random musings to clear a cluttered brain. Monday, January 26, 2015. There are some things in life that defy explanation. One such thing is something I've deemed the "Mom Law of the Universe," and that's the compulsion of moms everywhere to say things that apparently don't need to be said. That are so blatantly obvious or unnecessary that they provoke the stereotypical teenager "eyeroll and sigh.". We Have. To. Say. It. Touch things unless they are reminded not to touch. Just because they see ...

Writer's Block: Agree to Disagree
http://writersblock-susie.blogspot.com/2015/01/agree-to-disagree.html
Completely random musings to clear a cluttered brain. Thursday, January 29, 2015. Editor's note: I've been going through the blog post drafts I have on here, and this is from 2009. Sadly, not much has changed as far as some of our freedoms of speech go. Maybe it's time to change that. Some may be offended by this post.if you think you're one of them, don't read this. You have been warned. *wink-grin*. Shhh Do you hear it? That's the sound of my soapbox being dragged out. What is happening to. By not agre...

Writer's Block: To Like or Not to Like
http://writersblock-susie.blogspot.com/2015/01/to-like-or-not-to-like.html
Completely random musings to clear a cluttered brain. Thursday, January 15, 2015. To Like or Not to Like. In a world that's saturated by social media, friendship is cheap. But is there any real connection? It just takes more effort (and money) for some. Do you remember as a child being in a group of friends and seeing the "odd" girl hanging out on the fringe? Do you remember when you became that "odd" girl and suddenly you understood just how lonely it felt to be on the outside edge of the circle? Sure, ...

Writer's Block: Saturday Sweethearts
http://writersblock-susie.blogspot.com/2015/01/saturday-sweethearts_10.html
Completely random musings to clear a cluttered brain. Saturday, January 10, 2015. Sometimes in life an adventure is necessary in order to fill the hearts of our children. Today was one of those days. We traveled 200 miles (round trip) to visit a small mall north of Harrisburg and meet some awesome online friends for the first time IRL (for the non-texters out there, that's "in real life"). And it was totally worth it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Bit About Me. And the Reading Eagle. I love how t...
