We have a few visits to north-west London coming up in the Tube Walking calendar, starting with a trip down the Piccadilly line from North Ealing to Ealing Common. On Sunday 19th July. We last visited Ealing in December 2008, so if you missed that walk and have been kicking yourself for the ensuing six-and-a-half years, now's your chance to make up for it! Thursdays Impending - Postironic Brain. Aug 12th, 2010 09:54 am. I'm thinking of trying to be in the Penderel's Oak (near Holborn Tube, unless it's moved in the years I haven't been looking) next Thursday evening. We may be extraordinarily jetlagged and we've a train to catch absurdly early the following morning, so we may not last too long. I might aim to be there circa 6 pm, anyone interested in joining? I thought I'd given this kind of stuff the slip when I ran away to Canada :(. Nothing could be nice...

PORTUGAL - Gossip from inside my head. Apr 14th, 2009 01:07 am. On a whim, I ended up in Portugal last weekend. One sunny morning I flew into Porto’s shiny new airport and hopped on the shiny new Metro system, climbed up the tallest tower I could find, and had a look what I could see. Porto is a beautiful city. The Douro river forms a steep-sided gorge, and many old and crumbly buildings cling perilously to the sides. Huge awesome bridges. At the weekend, I fled the country for a little while to those strange little countries just across the water . Gosh, the Eurostar is cheap and fast nowadays. Less than 2 hours to Brussels. They even fed me a huge breakfast onboard, as I’d paid a little more. I must do that more often. Now, why was I going to Belgium? Finally figured it all out, and I found my way to Atomium. Inside it, of course, was ANTARCTICA.

I Dont Exist When You Dont See Me. Musings of a knight in tarnished armour. It's been a long time, hasn't it. Apr 27th, 2011 at 11:11 AM. Has anyone even noticed it's been a long time since I posted? Lots of things have happened, life has gotten in the way, and these days I'm more likely to be found on facebook. So if you have an FB account, and I haven't added you there, let me know what it is and I'll add you. Once all the legal stuff is out of the way I will name and shame, and talk more about this.
