http://rarejewelsblog.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 26, 2007. I'm moving away from MN! Okay, I'm not really moving. But I wish I was. We got ten inches of snow in two days at my house. Most of it came in the span of a few hours. And guess where I was in the middle of it all? Friday, February 23, 2007. Just a little too late. Okay, so now it's snowing. It's the end of February. Why is it snowing now when we haven't gotten more than a couple of inches all winter? Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Saturday, February 17, 2007. The masses who thin...

ThinkTank: So Spider-Man 3 was good
http://captkoala.blogspot.com/2007/05/so-spider-man-3-was-good.html
I hate you, Internet. Tuesday, May 8, 2007. So Spider-Man 3 was good. Not excellent, but enjoyable and the fanboy in me can see it twice but not a third time. Now actually using Eddie Brock and Venom longer than assumed five minute fight at the end of the movie people thought there would be was cool. Venom looked good, Topher Grace made Eddie brock the asshole he was. The mysteriously absent remains from the explosion is a nice segue into a future film as was the bits left behind. The villains all find o...

Blondie's Corner: March 2007
http://katherinegrand.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
My roommates bought a deep-fat fryer. America is in the midst of an obesity epidemic, and they bought a deep-fat fryer. I'm freaking out about the 10 extra pounds and how I have no time to exercise, and they bought a deep-fat fryer. Buying a deep-fat fryer these days is like starting to smoke. We now know the dangers and a lot of people are trying to quit. I should buy the a pack of cigarettes, just to prove my point. I don't care that they're not super-models. But they're not healthy.

I've been thinking about co-habitation a lot lately, and how I'm against it. For me, it doesn't have anything to do with morals or religion. In fact, I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't like it becuase too many people my age (or younger! I think living together has something to do with fake morals. If you're commited enough to live together, you're not just sleeping with someone, you're not a whore. But you are. You're giving someone your independence for slightly more legitamate sex. I don't hav...

Blondie's Corner: CTA, St. Patricks' Day and Other Things that are Wrong With Chicago
http://katherinegrand.blogspot.com/2008/03/cta-st-patricks-day-and-other-things.html
CTA, St. Patricks' Day and Other Things that are Wrong With Chicago. So, this past Sunday I attended the South Side Irish Parade in honor of St. Patrick's Day, even though it was 8 days early. While getting to the parade wasn't too bad, although we were wrongly led to a bus we didn't want to take, it was leaving after the mess of a parade. What kind of parade doesn't have candy? This is the question I pose to the CTA and the City of Chicago all together: Why the hell didn't you plan for this? There shoul...
