Sunday, April 17, 2011. Who is excited about being nine months old? Who's also loving spring-like walks in the stoller! He's still rolling everywhere. No crawling yet-but we're in no hurry to be chasing him around! He's turned into a real cuddle-bug. He loves to give hugs! He's also loving being a big boy and sitting by himself in the tub. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. From Our Little Bunny to Yours. Owen had an eventful first Easter. The day started out on the wrong foot with a long night of congestion and little sleep, so our little bunny wasn't his usual perky self. But we made the most of the day anyway. We spent some time enjoying the treats the Easter Bunny left for him. (He loved the basket the most.). He got all dressed up for church. After church we came home and did our own family photo session. He is such a cutie! KP from the APT.

Friday, October 30, 2009. It's been a big week in the Lakes household! On Monday Heidi and I went shopping in the Edinburgh Outlet Mall. Zach needed some new clothes (since he's growing like a weed) and I needed some pants for work. It was fun, especially since the weather was so beautiful! Monday, August 2, 2010. We had Zach's first birthday party the Saturday before his actual birthday (which is July 26). It was a great success! This is the picture I used for his party invitations. A glimpse of all the cupcakes and Zach's cake: We had baseball caps, baseballs, and Zach had his very own baseball diamond. It took a long time to make, but was fun for Heidi and I to do and infinitely cheaper than the bakery. Happy birthday to you! He wasn't quite sure what to do at first.

Saturday, April 2, 2011. We've been on Spring Break the past week, not that you'd know it by the weather. I don't think it's been above 45 all week! But here's a quick recap. 1. We got a new car! We traded in Chris' truck, which wasn't extended cab (meaning there was no way for a car seat to go in there) and got a 2010 Pontiac G6. Sunday, October 17, 2010. Owen Jacob: Three Months. We've made it three months! Everyone says the first three months are the hardest, so I'm taking their word for it and expecting this baby stuff to get easier very soon! I won't hold my breath though) All of the hard work is definitely worth it, we couldn't love this little guy more! Here is his progress on his three month birthday:. He is getting good at holding his head up and pushing himself up. He hasn't turned over yet, but we're working on it!
