Monday, March 24, 2014. Raelyn received her baby doll the Christmas prior to turning one. She has always called her "Baby Doll." When I have asked her what baby's name is she has simply replied "Baby Doll". Every once in awhile she might try to come up with something creative like, "Tomato". lol. The other night before bed she and I were reading the book Elizabeti's Doll. Raelyn, when I was a girl in Africa, I had a friend named Elizabeth. I like that name for Baby Doll. Love you, Gramma. Friday, May 23, 2014. Last Day of Preschool 2013-2014. It seems like the school year just began. And here we are looking at the last day. Raelyn and Max have had a fabulous year at ECC. It was a long winter with several delays and cancellations but other than that, it was smooth sailing. We can't say enough good things about the program at ECC. We appreciate how much they love and enjoy our kids. Thankfully, after a long weekend off they'll start the summer program. Much will be the same, but...I don't k...

Sunday, December 08, 2013. Santa made a special visit to my work Christmas party Saturday evening at the Children's Museum. Raelyn kept asking me all day if she could hug Santa. When she met him she had a big smile but wasn't quite ready to offer hugs. Max kept looking at him and then back at me. Finally after a few minutes he exclaimed, "I like him! Monday, November 11, 2013. Our first Parent-Teacher Conference. Raelyn's preschool teacher set up parent-teacher conferences this week. It was a great time to hear directly from her teacher how she is doing and area's we can help her improve. Here are a few things we learned (or already knew) about our amazing almost 4 year old.
