In a sense, you will be basically “drying” the Kale to a crispy consistency like a potato chip. The olive oil and good salt gives it a great taste, and the oven really concentrates the kale flavor. Visit the salt bar at your fancy grocery store. I go to Central Market. 1 Bunch Purple Kale. Laquo; Tom Kha Gai.

Homemade granola is right up my alley – technically it’s baked, but I can access my cook side and guess at quantities, be creative and build my own flavor. 6 cups raw Oats (not quick oats). 1 cup raw almonds. 1 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans). 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds. 1 tsp ground ginger. 1 tsp kosher salt.

The “Tom” means “boiled” as in soup, the “Kha” actually means “galangal”, a dried root which you can find at an asian grociery, and “Gai” menas “chicken”. So Tom Kha Gai is actually a chicken soup but you can substitute just about any meat or just use tofu. If you really want to do it up right, you will have to work hard to find these ingredients – FRESH Kaffir lime leaf. 20 oz Chicken Stock. 1 Tsp Red Curry Paste. 1 Tsp chopped Garlic.
