I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate and a member of SSRG. At Virginia Tech. I obtained my PhD from Department of Computer Science, Ozyegin University, Turkey under the supervision of Prof. Baris Aktemur. My research interests include runtime program generation, compiler design, high performance computing and autotuning. I'm also interested in programming language design and semantics. I was an instructor at Department of Computer Science, Ozyegin Unversity, Turkey.

Popcorn Linux - Overview
http://www.popcornlinux.org/index.php/overview
Jump to main navigation and login. The project has developed the first version of a replicated kernel OS model for Linux, called Popcorn Linux. This version implements a set of techniques to support replicated-kernel execution and ISA heterogeneity, including that for the boot process, processor grouping, memory management, device driver management, and inter-kernel communication. Popcorn currently runs on x86 64bit. Architectures. (We also have an unmaintained port on x86 32bit. An alternative to virtua...

Popcorn Linux - Heterogeneous Compilation
http://www.popcornlinux.org/index.php/compiler
Jump to main navigation and login. Programmability of heterogeneous hardware is increasingly low-level, manual, and cumbersome. Currently, programmers manually partition and map application code on heterogeneous hardware that best exploit the application’s potentially diverse computational behaviors (e.g., SIMD) for optimized performance.

Popcorn Linux - The Project
http://www.popcornlinux.org/index.php/84-popweb/24-popcornhome
Jump to main navigation and login. The Popcorn Linux project is exploring how to improve the scalability of operating systems, Linux in particular, on future multi- and many-core hardware platforms, and how to design operating systems for Instruction Set Architecture (ISA)-diverse multi/many-core architectures. Additionally, the project is exploring how to automatically compile/synthesize/execute code on ISA-heterogeneous hardware. March 15, 2016:. We will be at EuroSys/MaRS 2016. November 19, 2015:.
