You can read about our call to plant a church. Our hopes and visions for a new church. Here are some of the questions I’ve been asked,. What kind of a church will it be? What style of music will you have? Will you preach exegetically or topically? Are you a Calvinist? Will you have Sunday school or small groups? If you’re a staff me...

Keri and Jeremy: January 2009
http://keriandjeremy.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Ok, I know the election is over, and I don't want this blog to become too politically oriented. but I got this from a friend and thought it was too good not to share. I like the original song anyway, and this guy is really creative! Wednesday, January 21, 2009. The foot saga continues. There are some species in the world, like starfish, that have the ability to regrow a limb if it is cut off or damaged in an accident. I'm really wishing that humans had that ability! If the cort...
Keri and Jeremy: Loooooooong Weekend!
http://keriandjeremy.blogspot.com/2010/07/loooooooong-weekend.html
Monday, July 26, 2010. The weekend of July 16-18 was the long weekend for this program, which means that Jeremy and the students had Friday off so they could travel further afield. On Thursday, we all went down to London to take a tour of the Middle Temple and the Old Bailey. You may remember that this is a History/Pre-Law program, so that explains the legal theme for the day. We went to the Middle Temple last year but this year's tour guide was much better. This year, we actually got to go inside and se...

Keri and Jeremy: April 2009
http://keriandjeremy.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2009. We went to the travel agency this evening after work to book our flight to England. We had to go through an agency so KU would pay for Jeremy's flight directly rather than us having to wait to be reimbursed. We now have our official flight times and we are super excited! We'll leave here on July 2 and return on August 1. This gives us 2 extra nights in London before Cambridge, and one night after before we come home. Anyone have good suggestions of what we should do in London?
Keri and Jeremy: October 2009
http://keriandjeremy.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 16, 2009. A very belated post. But Happy 30th birthday, Jeremy! A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated with a surprise party at Free State Brewery. Somehow I managed to keep Jeremy from finding out the truth until we got there - he thought that we were going to meet a historian from Stanford. I can't take credit for that idea (thanks, Sheyda! But I'm still impressed that I didn't blow it. :). Here are some pictures from the evening. Jeremy, Adam Prichard, and Brandon Urban. The Gotte's X's 3.
Keri and Jeremy: March 2009
http://keriandjeremy.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 26, 2009. Just a quick update. my stitches are out! I can now finally bathe my foot again, which is a huge relief. It actually didn't smell as bad as I thought it would, haha. I'm under orders to continue taking it fairly easy for the next two weeks and wear my boot when I do any walking - exceptions being getting in and out of the shower, or a quick bathroom trip at night (Jeremy's bathroom is all of 5 feet from where I sleep). So to sum up, so far so good! Saturday, March 21, 2009.

Stan Brody ... As I see it
Stan Brody . As I see it. Opinions on current affairs moving the nation and world. Thursday, April 4, 2013. Some Things Remain the Same. Over the centuries, when armies went into battle it was a great honor to carry the flag, or guidon and be the vanguard into the fight. as the enemy sought to capture the guidon, it took great courage to be the bearer of the guidon. should he fall in battle great courage was required for the next soldier to pick up that guidon and carry on into the fight. WHY is it legal.
