The Personal Blog of Pastor Nick Scarpa. July 15, 2015. It’s easy to love people who are like you, or like-minded, because you are agreeable on most things. It’s harder to love (but worth the effort) those who reject you, your beliefs or things for which you stand. Jesus never said, “love those who love you”. In fact, we are to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. (Matt. 5:44). It has to start with prayer and seeking God’s will before we can expect to see any fruit from our efforts.
