Staring out of the window, daydreaming. Friday, April 13, 2012. I've just come back from a few days in Sherborne. In the past I have only had a few hours there, so this time I got to know the town better. It's a beautiful town, and I want to show some aspects of it. Many of the buildings are built of limestone - described on some of the literature as 'rich orangy limestone' and it is! Here is the Abbey. And these are photos of the Pageant Gardens.
