Monday, November 29, 2010. Story of Fig Tree and Fig Wasp. This is a White leaf fig ( Ficus grossularioides. Although fig trees are called 无花果 in chinese, (literally means no flower fruit), they do have flowers that are enclosed in the fig. Saturday, March 6, 2010. Bukit Timah Exploratory Walk on 6 March. A few of the guides went to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve for an exploratory walk this morning! Haven't been there for a long time, the last time I went was during the holidays with the Rs - Ron and Ruixiang i think LOL. The weather was quite hot but we managed to see not 1, but 2 Culogos! Didn't take any pictures as i was too lazy to take out my camera, and with my noob camera, I defintely won't get a good picture of the Culogos ):.

Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Kent Ridge on 19 Jan. Brought a few friends to NUS today for a bio project! Showed them a few plants and it was really fun. Haha. Here are some of the things that we saw today. Hopefully i didnt ID them wrongly =X haha. This is the Tiup tiup ( Adinandra dumosa. Missing the time I had in Normandy, where I loved warming up in the cold weather, but hated going down into the freezing water. Playing polo in such cold temperatures were fun cos it makes me want to paddle faster and I don't feel the sore or fatigue in the water. BUT out of water it's another matter.
