The State of Franklin offers a variety of activities to seniors at the Senior Center. A noon meal is served every weekday when the Center is open from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Exercise machines are available for use when the Senior Center is open. A pool table offers another form of recreation. There are also a variety of events planned each month. Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). The SCSEP Mission and Purpose is to serve low-income unemployed persons who are 55 years of age or older by training them in part-time community service assignments and by assisting them in developing skills and experience to facilitate their transition to unsubsidized employment in the private and public sectors. Each qualified senior accepted in SCSEP is counseled about all aspects of the program and receives a copy of the Personnel Policy Manual.
