Learning to Breathe: Color Coding Children
http://learningtobreathe2007.blogspot.com/2013/06/color-coding-children.html
Friday, June 14, 2013. Kids do not come color-coded. This seems to be a really hard concept for some adults. A two day old girl can't even fully see the color pink, let alone have a preference for it. Same goes for little boys and blue. Since most kids don't use pacifiers in school, who is there to tease him? Now that he's two, his pacifiers are gone, at an age where his peers were barely old enough to talk, let alone tease. And yet, he has been teased for having a pink pacifier. By adults. A note from t...

Learning to Breathe: April 2011
http://learningtobreathe2007.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 8, 2011. Freedom is like a testimony. Some are born with ease of opportunity. Some struggle to receive it, but battle until they do. Some take for it for granted and then lose it. Some have it and cherish it and keep it. Both are given by God. Both are something we are responsible for. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Awesome Friends' Blogs. Learning to Breathe: September 2011

Sunday, September 25, 2011. All Things Will Be Revealed. You know, it's kind of hard to know something without being able to explain it. I think that part of living this life, though, is having to trust Heavenly Father without being able to explain to others why you think that way. I think it's even harder with my friends. Sometimes you just want to say "because God says so! Because sometimes our church leaders don't match what the scriptures say exactly, so who do you go with? Sunday, September 4, 2011.

Learning to Breathe: August 2012
http://learningtobreathe2007.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 3, 2012. I was considering writing about the Chick-Fil-A contoversy, but then I read this. And it is better than anything I could have written, so I'll just put it here instead. In response to the Chick-Fil-A controversy, I had initially avoided adding my voice to the online dialog and instead pointed my friends to my “ Tread Lightly. I believe Christians need to avoid like the plague doing anything that serves the primary purpose of making us feel good about ourselves. In. When he provide...

http://learningtobreathe2007.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. So I haven't updated in a while, but most of you know our news. We're going to have a baby! So here's a few updates:. We went to the doctor and heard the heartbeat twice. The first time it was 160-170 the second time is was down to 140ish. Which is really good and healthy. On Sept 10 we'll get to find out if it's a boy or a girl! It's weird to think that I'm almost done with my Bachelor's. I am very ready to be done with school. So our plans so far for after that are:. So those a...
