Born and raised in the south-west of England, Maria has lived in Edinburgh for the last 26 years. It was whilst bringing up a young family that Maria developed an interest in painting and this led her to studying at Leith School of Art over a number of years. In 2007 Maria completed the Advanced Painting Diploma at Leith School of Art. Since 2009, Maria has worked as an artist at Coburg House Art Studios. Maria has also exhibited work at various group shows at Doubtfire Gallery. And St Columbas Hospice.
